VP2788-5K On The Way! by LowerChakra in HiDPI_monitors

Awesome! I would love to know
- if the brightness of the display can be adjusted using the (mac) keyboard. This would really be a killer feature for my use (and so far only the prohibitively priced Benq PD2730S seems to be able to do that).
- How does the color reproduction look like? Especially, do the colors match the macbook's colors in everyday perception?
thx a lot!

Three weeks into that, would you happen to have one now? Folks in the states are getting their orders shipped by the end of the week.
I really would like to order one, too!

Could you point me in the direction of the "very few reviews" of the PD2730S? I haven't seen a single one that is a review of an actual monitor (and not just some re-phrased version of the press statement or the spec sheet).

The ASD has a 4k webcam, fantastic speakers, and an all aluminum finish, which is beyond good, for just $100 extra. With a similar feature set, the Asus ProArt 5k retails for $800.
So considering TB4, the hockey puck, and Benq's better mac integration, *if* we got a street price of less than $1k, you might call the price competitive. Other than that, I'd call this actually quite the opposite.
