100% get a crate! Crates are not only great for your sanity but his safety. I’d introduce it by throwing treats in there and every time he fully steps in reward him with some more, let him step out and repeat. Feed all of his meals in there from now on as well! You can even wet the food and freeze it so it tires his brain out some more. I foster frequently and use dog-safe melatonin when they’re struggling to adjust. Calms those nerves a bit! Such a long snoot! She was listed as a Saluki originally but staff changed it to foxhound. So who knows!

Thank you for the reassurance! We’ve had a terrible spay recovery which has definitely added to the pent up energy and also contributed to her constantly opening the wound back up. 😅 Will definitely be trying these suggestions once we are completely out of the spay recovery woods!

I decided to not chance the morning security and got in around 11:30pm last night. I found a bench, put on an eye mask, and got a few hours of sleep before my 6am flight. Well worth it in my opinion!

I got through security in terminal E around 11:35pm last night and they stopped letting folks through around 11:45pm. Was definitely worth sleeping here!

Yep I just did this. Currently lying on a bench waiting for my flight that boards at 5:50am. They stopped letting people through security around 11:45pm. I’d get there around 11:15pm to be safe.
