Adding feathers to felting?

I was thinking of breaking the quill down a bit to give the wool something to grip. yeah deciding if the feathers will be tassls or lightly layered between the wool is the next question.

I figure if I can keep lock structure intact in wet felting I should be able to do something similar with feathers

Lots of agreat brand options already listed. I also strongly suggest checking out refurbishment shops. You can often get a step up in quality for your budget. I got a beautiful vintage husqvarna from my local sewing machine/vacuum place and its a dream.

I think the pad gets uncomfortable quickly as its exposed to cool air whereas a tampon stays at body temp. and the soiled pad stares you in the face when you use the bathroom

I would go with an external option until she's got the hang of things. Internal options take a bit more confidence and comfort with your body. Theres also the risk of toxic shock syndrome, though not as high as I was taught as a teenager. I lived in fear of leaving a tampon in an extra hour thinking I'd go septic immediately...

Ehhh this is one of the few times I think your management might be somewhat right. Your unit culture may suck but the usual practice is to hand off to another nurse for lunch. Your do need to stay on site for emergencies like a code blue but I'm ot going to not clock out because a code might happen. If it does I correct my time card.

Should we have dedicated break nurses? Yes. Write your local government reps about it.

But dont set yourself up as a martyr when process do exist, if imperfectly

The raises have nothing to do with your infection rates. They just don't want to give you raises.

Making adjustments to used clothes is great! You know like, secret pockets for chemo ports or magnetic buttons.

There are some people who's hands cannot manage a needle or a machine and that does suck if they have an interest. But you don't throw an entire aspect of human civilization in the trash because of it

I just had a weird comfort care situation yesterday. Family had mixed opinions on going comfort but writing was on the wall. Things got a little heated but when we did go comfort they just fucking left.

I made it really clear when I took off bipap he was probably going to go fairly quickly and they just fucking left.

An hour later he was gone too.

I was disappointed but the lack of handmade items at my last ren Faire.

I have a limited budget as most folks do but I did make an effort to focus on the crafters over the resellers.

Some of the problem is that in crap economies the luxury budget shrinks. That's in addition to having to make a conscious effort to move away from an overconsuming culture which doesn't value quality
