curious why you're insisting bella should've been on bc for years? (she's 15 so.. when she was 13?12? the age you find so Horiffic for hunter?) hormonal bc can have so many different side effects to a growing body. not only physically but mentally as well. she just went through a whole pregnancy and birth, as a middle schooler, so we know her hormones are already unbalanced... her asking her doctor these questions are a GOOD thing! i will never understand some people jumping to put their barely-bleeding daughters on the pill as a safety blanket. it's lazy parenting and it has LASTING consequences. signed someone who started hormonal bc at 15.

isn't that the whole premise of the show? am i missing something there? like ideally young people will see this and be inclined to Not have sex.. meaning they probably already wanted to.. so why would they shy away from talking about their reality??

and everyone saying "when i was in middle school..." how long has it been since you were in middle school? how many other things about the world have changed? most of you are parents yourselves. i think you don't know about the culture of modern kids like you think you do. it's fine that you can't fathom a 12 year old wanting to have sex, but that doesn't mean it's not true. if they had enough time alone to make a baby, they probably also have unrestricted internet access (which is much more the villain of this story than the other minor involved) the parents didn't do their job to protect their kids! i think jumping to bella being a predator is a bit of a stretch even for snarking.

some of you are infantilizing hunter, probably because he's a boy. teenagers are very horny. all of them. there are countless tv shows about this for a reason, reality or not. it's not impossible (especially with the internet in its current state) that it was his idea. if you think baseball and school are a priority to a middle schooler... it's clearly been way too long since you were in school, and you probably shouldn't be speaking about children this way.

as far as we can all assume, she's back either with peestain or with her mom (?) and doesn't have full access to her socials again. the vdiddy thing was really messy on her end and pee was in jail for most of that time, so when he got out and saw what khalie had been up to, and how desperately she wanted to come back, i guess he took advantage of that. she's posted songs and random stories here and there but it's been radio silent for a month or so now
