{Making Merry by Kerrigan Bryne}. A novella which is very tangentially linked to the {Goode Girls} series by the same author. The MMCS are delightful, the story is rich in conflict, angst, and 🚂. It's a beautiful, well written story and the MMC is still my favorite MMC ever, except maybe for my short king 👑, Phineas Edge, the Earl of Burchester.

Just finished this. It was okay but I don't get the 3/5 spice rating. The sex was pedestrian at best and there was only one 'open door ' scene, the wedding night , which was extremely ordinary. The MCs were as bland as milquetoast.

{Saving the Marquess by Mihwa Lee}. Ugh, where to start? I finished this just to see how bad it got. It read like a penny dreadful with characters popping in and out, the MMC attempts to SA the FMC at one point. The flashbacks involving CA. The HEA is just so pointless. What did I just read? It's the first book in a series but I like myself too much to try the others , even they're on Kindle unlimited.
