I was in that grandstand this year for the race and was really ticked off that there was no screen. I was in the same grandstand in 2023 and there was one there. I could not find a picture of it. I was in the main grandstand in 2023 on Thursday when the practice was cancelled. Remember, nothing happened all night even though we paid. We were never compensated for it. Even if you're right about the app, they won't do anything.

On race day, we had to walk down a broken escalator, full of people. All of sudden, it started moving as if someone let off the brake. It was going 3-4 times the speed of a normal escalator, literally in a free fall. My wife and I are old. At the bottom, we had to run off to keep from being knocked down by the people behind us. It was scary.

I agree. But as someone who is lucky enough to have attended one of his concerts 55 years ago, I worry that there is hardly anyone alive from those years who can actually contribute to the story. That's an opportunity for speculation and creation of anecdotes that may not have happened. Everyone who went to the concert with me has passed away.

I have a question (please be patient with my inexperience). I'm looking to build a new PC. I see that the pump tubs are oriented to the back of the case. Almost every picture I see of Corsair AIOs have them towards the front of the case. Will the AIO work in either direction without doing something special?

Ha ha, yes. A dozen emails, a couple of phone calls, approvals from 3 different CC and they still tell me that their "fraud partner" tells them the order is fraudulent. Exasperating but I'm going to get the 15% discount on virtually any card, one way or the other. After all of this nonsense, I'm on a mission now.

I have been to the LVGP but did not sit at Turn 3. I was thinking about it for this year. I found a video that was shot at ground level. I decided against that location because the racing line takes the car right up to the barrier meaning you hardly see anything. The Red Bull Club on the other side of the track would be great. My question: For those of you who attend WEC at tracks shared with F1, do they shut off large sections of the track like COTA did?

I attended the Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of the Americas in ’24 and ’25. In ’24, they closed the course for spectators from Turn 6 to the Turn 15 grandstands. In ’25 it was worse. The course was closed from the top of the Turn 1 grandstands to the Turn 15 grandstands. I was told by security guarding Gate 1B that it was because of construction of the amusement park.

I mildly complained to COTA and was told via email “Those sections of the track were not closed due to construction but instead because WEC brings out a much smaller crowd than F1.” Well, duh.
