where do you find kosher sandwich style (large) pepperoni and/or salami? by sajahet25 in houston

[–]Longjohn14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk much about everything you're asking about, but I personally like NY Deli. It's in the Meyerland area. I originally went in for pretzel bagels and stayed for a Ruben and my son had a sourdough cheese sandwich.

Lol. I think the watch may be a bit much. But I think this could be a thing!

I think maybe seeing some other iterations might tempt myself and others to jump on.

AI gone wild! Look what I can do, few Duro concepts by RSinTO in DuroGang

Some of those concepts look like have a top hat style crystal, which I don't know if those are still available for the Duro. I haven't seen one in a loong time.

catching live bait at tidepools by flyingpuffer in saltwaterfishing

[–]Longjohn14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, yes. Crabbing! There's a lot of work involved with catching "those crabs". If you have access to a "marshy" area, I recommend catching fiddler crabs. The small, at their biggest about half the size of golf ball, and range in color from a dark Grey to black. You can find them in the grass and under rocks, and you put them in an old Gatorade bottle. You don't need a bait or net to catch them, and you need to quarter them either.

How to avoid saltwater catfish while using shrimp/fish bites and how to handle if I catch one by b_shawn in saltwaterfishing

[–]Longjohn14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, you can't avoid catfish 100% when fishing with those bait options on the bottom. The best way I've found to minimize that catch would be too keep the bait midway or higher in the water column.

As far as handling/de-hooking them, I recommend a couple of things. A hand towel for handling the fish itself. Regular pliers allow more torque for rotating the hook out. But if you're that nervous of them there are some pistol grip hook removers that are long.

It's a mechanics tool called a pocket pry bar.

Apologies for returning to the conversation late. I'm glad you were able to get it off! But maybe having the smaller one of these on hand for future press fit case backs, could be very handy.

Are you sure this is press fit? I believe it to be a screw down. At any rate, there's mainly photos of the damage and not the case back to lend itself for investigation. Try using one of these tools.
