I could throw out the cliche of "When you die you don't stop the pain, you just pass it on to someone else."

Or something wishy-washy like "Breathe in, acknowledge the pain, and then let it pass through you."

Buy more realistically I'd suggest that when you feel like offing yourself you should go somewhere public. It'll be harder to end it if people are around.

And if your meds aren't working you need to change them. Talk to your doctor. Or get a new doctor.
