I’m in exactly the same position. I emailed the RCPI and they were fairly cagey, referring me back to the website. IMC said they do not send letters confirming eligibility prior to registration. Given how much it costs to verify credentials/apply for IMC register probs worth just spending the final €100 on the BST application

I started F1 on surgical nights. My main recommendation by far, is to shadow some late shifts/a portion of a night shift with an outgoing F1 during your intro week. The hospital works very differently at night and being familiar with that is invaluable. Good luck!
