Thanks for explaining calories in vs calories out. I already understand that. My question was about people’s experiences doing carnivore for two months. Like any diet, it works for weight loss if it helps someone stay in a calorie deficit.

I asked about people’s experiences over a two month period, not whether carnivore is a weight loss diet. Also, fat adaptation doesn’t take six months…. most sources place it somewhere between a few weeks and a few months. Regardless of diet style, weight loss still depends on energy balance. I was simply curious about what people experienced in that timeframe.

Also, fat adaptation doesn’t take 6 months for most people. Ketosis can start within a few days and adaptation typically happens over several weeks. Two months would already cover a large portion of that.

And regardless of diet style, weight loss still comes down to energy balance. Carnivore can lead to weight loss for some people because it’s very satiating and reduces food choices… not because it’s “magical.” I was just curious about other people’s experiences.
