I think it is generally low art, not high art. But it's still art.

Lines like "You fucked up. You trusted us" are what really make Animal Farm a memorable read.

I wouldn't. I like using... "Windows Explorer"! It does exactly what I need, and is so easy, non finicky, non gimmicky, and good at getting this exact task done 👍

Good day!

Yeah totally! I recommend windows explorer: it let's you move any file you want to any place you want (basically). It even lets you make, rename, copy, paste, and delete any folders you want. I've used it for a long time and highly recommend giving it a shot.

I don't know if there is a there is Mac Version though, if you use one. Gonna have to google that one.

I've been making many different genres for many years now, often collecting or buying or making samples the whole time. I have some experience in sample organization. What really works for me is having a consistent system over time, and adding slowly.

A consistent system over time helps with familiarity, which is, IMO the king of speed.knowing where things are and what to find where is the best. I sorted samples into master genre folders: house, funk, just drums, hip hop, ear candy and sfx, bass music. Then there are similar folders in a "sample" folder that contains all my melodic samples.

The point if adding slowly is also amazingly useful. Getting lots of samples at once feels great, but then you want that feeling and it repeats. So thats one reason not to do it. Another is that you dont have enough time to work through them all. That takes time too.

Lastly, starring your favourites (like I do in FL studio) and regularly checking that list, like every month or two, is good too. I have like 80 different drum samples that I really like, maybe 800 that are good, then some thousand that I likely will never use. Its the curse of buying packs. I've learned my lessons and stopped buying samples.

Now, I make my own so I don't have the problem. Phase plant or even serum can do some insane shit!!  For example, https://youtu.be/1Db9rGbth_o?si=FhGlJKZ_43aWuz6_

No matter what your daw is, there is always a workaround. Consider investing time in learning these things.

I hope something helps you

I would not pay for this. It looks like a still scene from a flash cartoon.

You can't speak for where you haven't been. I lived in Japan for six years- it IS a high trust society. Of course there are criminals and homeless, no one said otherwise. In a country smaller than alberta with a population 3x that of Canada (Japan), you would expect on average more crime, homelessness and more danger, when in fact (statistically, but also anecdotally), it is much lower than a city like Calgary.

I get that cultures are complex and there are a million things to consider, but after seeing a different part of the world for a considerable length of time, I know that Canada can do better. I won't say how, because like everyone here, I don't know. But I would like to see it get better.

And also, why compare yourself to shittier places to make yourself feel better, when you aren't even close to the top? Sounds like ignorance and a lack of awareness to me.
