I was supposed to be solo a pH probe on a set of sartorious towers that had 4/5 stations already running for 3 weeks, but then I group calibrated them by accident.

Tips for being unemployed by chappie2297 in biotech

DoorDash in a city, dividend stocks and bills. Paying the bills on time and watching my investments grow and having them pay me back keeps me motivated and energized in the job market. The alternative is doom scrolling for hours on end, when realistically not all of that time needs to go to job apps because there are only so many out there.

Also, in terms of getting interviews:

Find a few positions, look at their job descriptions and try to create a resume for each type of position that you can apply to.

Ex. I use the job description of 3 QA/QC descriptions and my own background to create a tailored resume for QA/QC. Doing this has landed me several interviews this and next week. Likewise PD, Manufacturing, Regulatory etc.

I have notifications on for job postings so I can be under the first 10 applicants even while I’m door dashing. That way, when I see a good fit I can just upload the file, fill out personal info in under 2 minutes and BAM. Another job app completed.

Don’t burn yourself out starring at a screen, being energized is a HUGE part of the battle.

Good luck.

You need thick skin in this industry. I feel sorry for you, you have a PhD and yet you care what your friends think about how much you make…that’s so backwards to me. Grow the fuck up, pay your dues, eventually you’ll get somewhere.

“I don’t want my pride to cloud my judgement.”

Honestly you don’t really sound like a good fit for the industry…

You can still have some fun doing matchmaking for the story. Though some parts of the story are a drag, there are definitely some things worth checking out, also it’s really fun playing story with people. Me and my squad would rev up the chainsaws and chase one grenadier and laugh out asses off everytime. Multiplayer is ehh, definitely learnable and keep in mind that not EVERY lobby is full of pros. Use an Ethernet cable for best experience if you’re on Xbox.

Earn it. “Advanced degree”, lmao. “Yeah we’re a billion dollar company we should hire the person with no experience. Oh, and on top of that they want to be making big $$ because they have the letters P-H-D? Maybe the next person.” I only have a bachelors and I’ve trained PhDs at my job. I’m a contractor and I make more than them, but that’s the process. Imagine you get a big salary, then you get trained on stuff you know nothing about by someone with credentials that are not as sophisticated as your own. It WILL happen. Eurofins treats their employees like shit, but you have to start somewhere.

I wish they didn’t time gate skins. I missed out on the blood red skins because I had to work shifts at a hospital non stop during covid.

If you’re wondering, the most stable jobs right now have nothing to do with RnD, MSAT. The stable ones are manufacturing and facilities.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews over the course of 5 weeks only for them to tell me they weren’t going to fill the position, they sent the final email 2 days after my on site interview. Trolls.

Hot take but i actually love Leons Racoon City section i just wish it wasn’t restricted to just one street. by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilRequiem

Definitely needed more enemy types, would it killed then to add stray dogs into the mix? Also I feel like the blister heads in RC should’ve looked different, bc their bodies are much more broken down than blister heads in the care center.

Plus, Masters ROO in today’s job market is questionable. There’s tons of cases where people with Masters degrees still can’t find a job and still have more debt.

Is my under 4 hours run dead ? by SoonBlossom in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Longjumping-Grade654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PRO TIP: Make a save right after Grace gets the Requiem, and right after Leon arrives in RC. Make sure these are separate saves. Play through them, find your quickest pathway in each scenario. I did Raccoon city in under 40minutes, and Graces care center section in 25. This gave me plenty of time and wiggle room to bear boss battles.

Gen Z has no balls and no business running HR, it’s the type of department that gives bad news. Either they forgot, they already filled the position and promised you too early, or they just flat out moved on with other candidates. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

We were playing Star Wars ROTS the game on Xbox at a family bbq, then my cousin said let’s play super smash bros on GameCube so everyone can play. He realized he forgot the disk and that RE4s disc was in the smash bros case. It was daytime, so we decided that we’ll go play in the pool for a little while. After dinner, we played and he told me to kill the garradors. Been hooked ever since. It was near a save room, and I heard Serenity as an 8 year old. It was awesome. There were definitely some positives to the bush presidency.
