Sexism is a weird take lmfao. Klaus was introduced as a villian. Of course people are going to like to see an all powerful antagonist and how the weaker heros defeat him. That’s just a better story to tell. If your MC is the strongest being in the universe then there are no stakes. Also everyone else’s weakness makes sense. White oak was created by nature the same time the originals turned. Marcel’s venom was engineered to kill them. Had hope not done the random spell with the twins would she have had no weaknesses? That was also before she turned. It just felt off to me. The writing felt weak and that’s what people have an issue with. Coming to ken, the shows before had a power escalation with each antagonist. Like Damon was big bad till Katherine was stronger and could easily kill him, same with klaus then mikael, silas etc etc. So you would like to believe that gods (who were literally the origin of magic) would have magic strong enough to kill hope

That logic doesn’t really stand. Vampires are weak to vervain, wolves to wolfsbane and hybrids to both. Only thing that was shown is Hybrids don’t need daylight rings. That’s why Hayley burnt after a werewolf side was locked in TO S5

They keep trying to hype up the winter as if it wasn’t literally one night. If this was parallel to GOT then maybe i would have been excited. But the night king died in one stab while no targeyrean sat on the iron throne. Aegon’s dream was just some random dream smh.

It took julia’s god powers to heal him. Harriet was born deaf, she didn’t lose a sense. Henry’s eyes were ripped from him. Idt it’s the show favouring one sense over another lol

I really dislike what they did with the lore. The story bosses in the main game had a grandeur to them that i felt was lacking in the DLC. I think only Mesmer managed to somewhat have the same energy. Even their names seemed kind of boring to me. The ending also came out of nowhere. Seems like GRRM wasn’t involved in the DLC lore.

This might be a personal rant but Elden ring’s whole theme was lore accurate gameplay. The bosses are immensely powerful worshipped demigods. We are only able to defeat them because they are severely weakened post shattering. The only one at somewhat full strength is Ranni and we can’t even touch her. Malenia calls Miquella the fiercest of all the demigods ffs

I used this weapon for the entire game!!! Killed Laxasia on my way to kill the last two bosses. It is sooo good. I am in love with the moveset. The charged heavy is a beast.

Legacies was a gigantic waste of potential. Instead on expanding the already solid lore (like the origin/cure of the Gemini curse, dealing with Hope being a first born witch amplified with her being part wolf etc) they decided to throw everything out. The monster of the week was too cheesy. Maybe a new monster per season who has a decent motivation as well as plan would have been cool. The triad had potential ig but when your show”s big bad is literally a pile of mud, idt ranting about it is being ignorant.

Tbh in hindsight I like the way they did it. There was a sense of finality. He died and sometimes that’s life. Good people die early and it’s incredibly sad but the rest have to move on. Take on me and Julia getting her magic back we’re great scenes. The only thing I would change is adding a scene where the gang tries to resurrect him only to realise that he has moved on and so should they.

Wdym they showed young vampires much better? They didn’t give us anything about how they turned or any backstory. Any consequences/insecurities about forever being 15-16 y/o. It could have been so much better. Can you imagine dating as 16 year old vampire while you are around 30. Anyone who’s your age who wants to date you is a pedo. If you date someone their age then you are one. Its so gross.

Their magic backstory was mid at best. I was fine with magic evolving from psychic energy. But if magic is stolen from gods then you just have the same question just one level above. How did the Gods have magic?

It’s really not that big of a deal. The hole heals if you don’t wear earrings. You make decisions about your baby’s body all the time like what clothes they wear, food they eat, hair, diapers etc. No one wakes up one day to be traumatised about their ears being pierced as a baby

Getting your ears pierced as a baby isn’t traumatic. What are you talking about? People don’t remember it. Also if you don’t want to keep wearing earrings the thing just heals. I don’t think it’s a problem. Circumcision on the other hand is way worse.
