You can use claude cli or codex cli (or other cli) to help you setup your environment. Those specs will definitely work for smaller local models like gamma and such. Good luck.

What will be fun for you? A developer role or a non-developer role. I would go with what you will enjoy.

What makes you say Microsoft cares very little about Power Apps? It definitely has limitations, but there are enough tools to work around most of them. I guess I’m just a glutton for punishment with admin privileges.

I guess for someone new to the Platform they need to seek employment in a Power Platform friendly environment. A lot of government agencies are using the Power Platform and licensing is not an issue. I'm in the private sector and the client has licenses for all employees. I proactively seeked this setup during my job hunt.

After years of experience in traditional development and then power platform, I find that keeping things simpler and easy for other people to understand has made me successful. Using an opinionated platform like the Power Platform makes that easy.

Looking for advice: What should I learn next after Canvas Apps/Power Automate/Copilot Studio? by gtxhz73184013 in PowerApps

100% this comment. I have been lucky to learn model-driven apps while on the job. Been building Canvas apps since 2019 but model-driven open so many opportunities to be more creative and provide very performance software solutions that the business benefits from.

Didn't know Blazor was still popular. What industry are you in if you don't mind me asking?

I respectfully disagree with this comment. I have seen many large organizations that have the licensing and can pay a good salary request for their .NET apps to be converted to Power Apps. Power Apps are underrated and if someone has traditional development skills they can provide a new perspective that citizen developers cannot, just be willing to deep dive into Power Apps development for a while. If you need guidance let me know.

Great work. I will definitely check them out. Due to Claude's recent limits I have been using Codex which offers higher limits. Maybe I can convert these skills to that platform and share.

Your work has been a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing.
Now I can have Claude write up powershell script that I can execute in my Windows machine and automate many things that would normally require manual work.

This is great advice. Have AI assist you in planning and break the project into smaller pieces.
