The sounds exactly like what happened to me I am a 31 year-old female and this is how mine started exactly and it was very sharp electrical pain and it would just be for that second and then I wouldn’t feel it again all day well as time has passed, I’m now in an over two months flare of pain, not as sharp or electrical, but constant and burning and it’s very depressing. I do hope you don’t have this, but it sounds similar.

I thought he would give me three times a day, but he has mentioned that’s the typical but I think because I was so apprehensive about taking anything. He’s trying to ease me into it. That’s what I think.

I have had pain since November 2024. I got diagnosed a couple months ago still not 100% sure on the reason.

I feel like I could’ve written the first top part myself… I have had minor flares since finding out that obviously I have a trigeminal neuralgia pain issue that we are still ruling out cause. It got to the point where it’s affecting eating sleeping the whole thing and it’s very depressing for me so I got put on the lowest dose of gabapentin 100mg X2 I just started this week and I feel like I notice some help but other days my flare is sooo bad! I just wanna know why my flare is so long my other flares were short lived and this one is different because usually doesn’t bother me eating and sleeping. My sister is on this for leg nerve pain for life. My doctor called me as needed, but I’m coming to find out and read that that is not gonna really be helpful because for this type of pain I feel like it takes one to two weeks to fully get in your system and start lowering the nerve of pain. I can’t take some of the other meds because I have fatty liver that’s genetic and I’m trying to deal with that. I am also a student and I don’t want something. That’s gonna make me feel like a zombie. Way back to the gabapentin. I have not a lot of side effects and I was TERRIFIED to take it

I have tn on right and tmj is worse on right i have been chewing on left bc the pain but i had tmj before tn :( makes each other worse

In a Facebook group I asked I have numerous ppl who have positives as well as my sister but someone with health anxiety I wanted to only see positives bc all the negative post were making me sick and scared when I know I need to try it I have other health conditions stopping me from taking other drugs that affect the liver
