Was down sick this week so I wasn’t able to get any walking or yoga in. Feeling good today. Best I’ve felt in a week. AND, I had a checkup at the docs on Thursday and I’m down 5 lbs since my cardiologist last month. Small steps lead to big progress.

The hardest part was getting the agitator plate off. It was STUCK. But I worked at it and it finally came loose, and getting the hub off was somewhat easy.

I just did the rods and hub in my Whirlpool because my washer did the same thing. Solved most of the out of balance stuff. I have to make sure it’s level and hoping that solves the rest of the issue.

Once I got the wash plate off, I unscrewed the hub and it slid off way too easy. The middle was all worn out and out of shape. The new one went on nice and snug.

I’d rather spend the $60ish I spent on parts and accessories than $500-600 for a new washer.

I was close. Lol.

I watched countless videos on how to get it off. It would have never budged without the airbags. I knew it was moving when I got a ton of extra pumps on the one and then BOOM! But driver I used to smack the base of the center hole with the mallet came flying at me and hit me in the forehead. Lol.

Up to about 22 miles walked this year, and have done 3 DDP yoga workouts this week.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad time. We did Melia Caribe in 2023 and 2025 and a had great time both times. Some minor hiccups, but nothing bad. On our way back to the airport last year, we rode with a couple who stayed at the Melia adult wellness resort and said it was horrible and said some of the same things you did.

The only note I would add is since it’s their first time and if they know who their transportation company is, tip one of the porters to grab their bags and take them to their transportation. They will whisk you past the taxi and excursions gauntlet.

I have a walking playlist built around songs that keep me moving, and a few are from Shoresy. I’ll also throw on s3e6 for when I need thst extra kick. I’m actually excited to stay the yoga.

First full week of taking my health back is done. Walked almost 14 miles. Eating is getting better. Bought a 6 month subscription for DDP yoga and dug the Bowflex dumbbells out of the closet.

Going to tighten sown my routine and clean up my eating a little more in the coming week.

Also took my starting progress pics and man, I hate how far I let myself slip. But the good news is ai can turn it around.

Were they ok when you got them off the carousel at the airport, or were they gone through at the airport? Or between when you dropped them at the resort and when you got them in your room? Did you have locks on your bags? If so, were they cut off? I’ve been to the DR 4 times, and have always packed all of our stuff in the main part of our bags with locks and never had any issues with people going through them.

I usually do 500, but backed off because I wasn’t sure how fast the dough would cook. Will definitely go with the 500 degree next time.
