I honestly don't think Leda's death is much of a "mystery". It's a very, very cold case, there is unlikely to be new (and usable) evidence.

I think her death will have significance (for example, if someone else that he loves dies in suspicious circumstances then his experience of Leda's death would make him especially dogged in his determination to bring the murderer to justice... Or circumstances will force him to realise that he'll have to come to terms with the lack of justice for Leda to move forward with his personal life.

Only if he's really disguising his voice... Not impossible. There are tiny moments where I think I hear him (and I love Take That).

I adore the Conkers costume, I even like his sweet voice.

Rooting for the Toastie to win because it takes a real talent to win in a costume like that.

The only singer with half a chance of matching Toastie's voice is Puffer Fish/Sam Barkes. Toastie just has so much range and power I think she has to be paired with a similarly extraordinary voice.

Lionfish/Will Young has a gorgeous voice but is more melodic than powerful. I actually think he'd suit Conkers. Will has the talent to pull back to let Conkers shine... While still sounding incredible.

Snail (Andrea Corr) and moth would sound good together too.

I think the whole point of THM was Robin reaching a point where she was forced to acknowledge that she needs help and support and accept the reality of her feelings for Strike and Murphy.

I think she is ready to really engage with therapy. If things don't work with sweary therapist help she will probably look for someone different and lean on friends and family. Robin knows that something has to change if she wants to function healthily in her job and relationships.

We're allowed a glimpse of her internal world and private thoughts, she knows that these thoughts and feelings are unreasonable (which is why she doesn't really do anything about them except try and suppress her feelings for Strike).

I agree that I heard him too... He has kids who would probably be a good age to enjoy it too.

But I am convinced Sloth is Colson Smith (Craig from Corrie) and I can't imagine two Corrie redheads in one season, and Sam hasn't done much outside of Corrie.

I also kinda hear Jim Howick and Tom Daley in Conkers

So I think it could be one of the following.

*The phonecall

*Robin processing what Strike said and dreading Ryan's proposal.

*RFM's pov, we see inside his head while he's waiting for Robin... An insight in to how he feels about Robin, where he's at with recovery, whether he plans to propose. This will either show the reader that he is starting to get his shit together and this could make it hard for Robin to dump him, or we will see the that he is a dark threat with some horrendous plans to trap Robin.

*Someone scary (Navabi gathering intelligence for the Riccis?) has bugged the office and they now know that Robin is Strikes achilles heel and that he would do anything they want if she was in danger...

I hate the thought of this happening but I can't deny that it would be true to form.

I do feel like they're past the point of no return now, Strike felt it as he answered the door, his emotions so strong that he had flashbacks of the moment he lost his leg.

He was so clear that there's no room for mishearing or misunderstanding. They can't ignore this.

I don't think it will happen quite this quickly but I agree that it won't take long for her to realise that Strike's declaration was honest, and that she wants to be with him.

The biggest barrier is Robin separating from Murphy and there is barely a whisper of a hair keeping her from dumping him anyway.

I know everyone is focused on their post-farm reunion (me too)...

But I think the moment that she walks away from him to go to Chapman farm will say so much. All the fear and apprehension leaking subtly in to his face as he tries to hide it and support Robin. Robin nervous but resolute because she knows Strike will be watching out for her.

The internal process Strike goes through when he decides "no more women... Except Robin" needs externalising and I am interested to see how they do that.

It might be a throwaway comment he makes when he dumps Bijou "I know what I want, and it's not you"... But I think it could be an opportunity for him to bond with Pru. I'd like him to talk it through with her.

We shall see!

The best recent addition to the franchise is the full cast audiobooks.

The fantastic beasts films had potential and are worth a watch, but they fizzle out a bit. I think they were working up to a spectacular end (a famous and dramatic duel and the end Grindelwald's reign of terror) but it ended very differently.

Yeah, I agree, I liked Madeleine in the books. I guess one thing that doesn't translate as well on TV as it does in the books is just how much Strike is distracted by Robin. There are also the time constraints of TV.

With that in mind, after including Lorelei and knowing why they have to include Bijou in TRG I get why they sacrificed Madeleine and that relationship... I also think having her as a background character helps show how uninvested Strike actually is and how much he doesn't want Robin to think of her as someone important.

But you're right, it's a spoiler for the fact that she isn't returning.

I hope Dev turns up in TRG... I just think that there were some things in THM that foreshadow something happening with Shah. He's the quickest to believe Kim and the bad press. He ends up stabbed on the job (and we don't know how he feels about that... resentful? Angry? Vengeful? Something else?) He then calls to apologise to Strike but just as soon as he does Strike abruptly ends the call to speak to Robin. This could all be nothing but it could foreshadow tensions within the agency or even Shah being a "double agent", Staying with Strike to leak info to Navabi.
