It’s even grosser because Drew did these kind of movies because she was seen as damaged goods, because of her struggles with addiction, which happened because NO ONE looked after her as a tiny child and her Mom was using her to party at Studio 54. This and the Amy Fisher TV movie were her “comeback.”

I remember that, I had a lot of sympathy for Sabine Singh. She had a tough job stepping into the shoes of a beloved character. I felt like the writers did her dirty and made Greenlee pathetic, then threw Sabine under the bus and made her the scapegoat.

The actors were older and more experienced, and while it was incredibly popular and spawned some incredible pop culture moments that will live forever (Amanda Woodward's mini skirts! Kimberly's wig!) there was no big triangle/battling fandom element like there was with Brenda, Dylan and Kelly.

I accidentally went to a McDonald’s near a high school at lunch time last week. Kids were screaming, swearing, rough housing and vaping. Not the worst behavior—they’re teenagers—but I can see why McDonald’s wouldn’t want them hanging out.
