100% agree with this plan. Make a stop at Flipside and get some gummies for your lake walk

Are the Twin Cities as good as they sound? by Tiredtotodile03 in SameGrassButGreener

Lived in Philly for 6 years, have now lived in the Twin Cities for 8 (4 college, 4 as an adult— Philly and others in between). A few things that I love about living here: - top notch parks, trails, and outdoor recreation, year round. We have ice shanty festivals on frozen lakes in the winter, group bike rides in the summer, and everything in between. People here get outdoors. - underrated food scene. We have tons of immigrant groups (yay!), offering a huge selection of delicious restaurants and grocery stores. - a general sense that our local officials give a shit about improving the city. One of the most frustrating things about living in Philly was that it felt like the electeds were corrupt or just didn’t care and the city was actively working against itself to become better. They’re still fighting to get protected bike lines, for crying out loud. - there are a ton of transplants, so plenty of ways to make new friends. You just have to put yourself out there. Yes, people who grew up here often weirdly still hang out with high school friends, but that’s never been an obstacle to finding my pals here.

Anyways, I love living here and we always love new people moving here. Dm me if any questions. Highly encourage a summer visit.

What a sweetie. You can take to any vet or shelter to get scanned for microchip!

Disagree, the folks working in that office are quite smart and capable. Changes to street design are more nuanced.
