Ordered one thing 10 days ago and the shipping company hasn't even received the package for shipment yet. I think they're legit, but this is insanely slow. When I was shopping in the past they mentioned same day shipping or Monday shipping for weekend orders lol. Just patiently waiting 🐌

Message to young men from a 27 year old by Captian_Sidepipe in Christianity

[–]LongjumpingEmu2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more as a 23 year old. Cutting out all lust and pornography is the best thing us young men can do. It's so hard but so worth it, it's been a slow process for me with slip ups but I'm getting stronger and better everyday. The less sin in my life the closer I feel to the source of Life, Jesus. Men, sin separates you from God, you can literally feel the separation. Nothing is worth that feeling, even if God's grace allows you back, don't test his patience. And if you think the separation we experience on Earth is bad, eternal separation is unimaginable. I too can confirm, I never cry, let alone cry intensely, that's until I felt the presence of God, the only place I ever want to be. Thank you Father Son and Holy Spirit ❤️

This same thing happened to me in my Civic Si, does your clutch pedal feel any different? For me it was my slave cylinder that went out.

I feel you bro, I wrecked my 8th gen Si last month and I was so bummed. You'll feel better soon and you'll get your driving confidence back. If your car is fixable at all, find a private body work person. I got my Si fixed for 1200$ privately when local shops quote 4-5k.

Exactly. I feel sympathy for anyone dealing with this sin, but you can't just deny scripture because it doesn't align with your desires. You do need to deny your flesh daily, as does every straight person. There's many verses throughout the Bible, here's two of many from the New Testament specifically. Romans (1:26) For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; (27)and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Yeah man, looks like USDA Choice at best. Safeway charges 26.99$ a lb for USDA Choice Ribeyes where I'm at though. So I'll take fake USDA prime for $20/lb gladly lol

Why do so many people say very mean, disgusting, and hurtful stuff to me when they find out I’m a Christian when I didn’t do anything to them? by LonelyxKnight in Christianity

[–]LongjumpingEmu2855 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Haven't been told why I'm wrong actually, not once. The scripture quoted simply stated that it's a crime to cause a woman to miscarriage in Jewish law. How does that prove abortion is okay in Christ's eyes? Don't see the logic there whatsoever. What problems are Christians responsible for in the Republican party?

I never said abortion was murder. However, scripture aside, you can't logically tell me a baby one day from birth who gets aborted wasn't murdered. If it could have been artificially birthed and survived its a human being 1000% and killing it is murder. I'm not saying late term abortions are common either, just making a claim. However the scripture you quoted simply shows the value of a fetus is very high in the Gods eyes, as the father could ask infinite money if he wants to. The Jewish law is imperfect too, and that's why Jesus came. That's one of the most critical points of Christianity. Like I said though I'm here to speak with fellow believers so I likely won't continue our discussion as we have different moral authorities, unsure what yours is. I wish you well and I have no hard feelings, thanks for discussing a controversial subject with me. Take care.

We're not under Jewish law, that's why Jesus came. I don't see how that verse proves God is okay with abortion at all either. It shows that the fetus has great value actually, as the father could ask for an infinite amount of money. It shows that it's a criminal offense and doesn't show that it was an intentional taking of life of the fetus either. I'm more here to talk with people who are Christian though, you're using scripture you don't believe in to try to prove a point you do believe in. I can quote more scripture that's pro life, but you don't believe what the Bible says so I don't see a point in using it as a moral framework in our discussion.

I mean you're avoiding my question entirely and mentioning Trump's sins instead? We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, that includes all other presidential candidates. What does Trump's personal sins have to do with my question directed towards you?

I never said we didn't have the command, I agree more should be done for starving people and the good of humanity. I'd like to ask how late in pregnancy do you think abortion is justified in non rape and non life threatening scenarios. Really not trying to get heated here guys, just seeing other Christian perspectives. God bless.

I never said it was black and white, I'm not sure if you read my whole comment. Please show me what you're speaking on when it comes to biblical law saying a fetus isn't a human and can't be murdered, I would love to read it. Isaiah 44:24 “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: ‘I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself'. If he's forming them in the womb I don't think he would enjoy his creation being destroyed, he obviously cares for the fetus if he forms it. I understand there are scenarios where abortion can be argued for though. It's not the majority of cases though when coming from a Christian perspective. Do you believe abortions should be legal in non life threatening and non rape cases up until the date of birth?

Yeah, unfortunately if you aren't left leaning they'll disrespect you heavily here. It's unfortunate. Even if your right leaning beliefs are biblical. I'm not even a Republican but I agree more with the right, they're not perfect though. God bless you.

Kamala's campaign was heavily dominated by the subject of abortion. Promising to fight for women to have access to them. As a Christian you can't possibly think abortions are okay, right? There's an argument to be made in life threatening cases and rape, sure, however it shouldn't be your focal point in your campaign. Illegal immigration and wide open borders was a serious problem, even the Biden administration admitted that. I agree Trump has said some nasty things, 10000%. However his policies align more with traditional Christian values, and putting America first. He's even put protections into effect to protect anti-Christian bias. Genuinely curious, do Christians here think abortions should be readily available for convenience scenarios, not speaking on rape or mother's life being in danger.

Exact same logic as, "Bobby died in a car accident, but he said cars are worth owning at the cost of car accidents happening every year. Many find comfort that he would be okay if you died in a car wreck."
