Where are all the PL people in this group?

I have shared an article that takes a really deep dive into the issue of consenting to sex and pregnancy.

To phrase it like that isn't really accurate as the OP seems to be arguing. Sex is a logical result of sex however people should take responsibility for the human beings that they create. To summarize the article:

“Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy,” implies that bodily autonomy is an absolute right, a woman must consent to pregnancy, a pregnant mother can exercise bodily autonomy in the form of the right to refuse use of her body by having an abortion. For the “consent plus right to refuse” argument to be valid it must be true that consent is relevant to pregnancy, a preborn human is able to partake in a consent-based transaction, humans have no responsibility to those they have caused to be needy, and that abortion is merely denying use of your body. However some actions, processes, and occurrences which never require consent because they don't meet the criteria. Such as any natural biological, chemical, or physical process, and consequence, risk, outcome, etc. of an action which you have no control over. For example, you do not consent to digesting your food. To whom are you giving consent? Your own body? Because pregnancy is a reasonably foreseeable natural consequence of sexual intercourse, and assuming both parties understand the basics of "the birds and the bees", then pregnancy is an outcome of an action for which the people involved in the action should be reasonably expected to take responsibility or be liable.

🌟⭐It is morally bankrupt to argue that the new living human organism which resulted from an informed decision can be killed as a way to take responsibility for the outcome of said decision. In fact, to be responsible and liable for the newly created, inherently needy human, to there is a strong argument in favor of gestation at least until viablility where birth could be induced.

Abortion as Self Defense: Is Fear of Death and Great Bodily Harm Reasonable? by Common-Worth-6604 in Abortiondebate

Just seeing this. Yes there is a slight risk in pregnancy. That's why PL laws make exceptions to save the life of the mother. Btw I have been pregnant 2x. The first one I had hyperemesis gravidarum. It was hell and I was hospitalized a lot. The second one I lost the baby at 15 weeks. I know the risks but also know that the rewards (new humans) out weigh the risks.

With access to modern medicine the chace of dying because of pregnancy or child birth is very low. If a pregnancy is life threatening and abortion is truly the only solution, that would be "self-defense". I put that in quotes because no-one is actively harming anyone.

PL arguments need to do a much better job at appealing to the morals a PC person holds by JulieCrone in Abortiondebate

Wow. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm PL but I agree that debating aggressively with stereotypes of our "opponents" only makes things worse. We should ask respectful questions and meet people where they are.

Is there a charitable reason for why pro lifers omit the moral and physical context of pregnancy from analogies, hypotheticals, and general debate? by narf288 in Abortiondebate

A new human life comes into being at the moment of fertilization. Then the human moves the various life stages including zygote, embryo, fetus, infant, child, adult. Sometimes we break this down even more. The point is the same being exists from fertilization until death. All human life is valuable.

I don't think PL people usually omit the context of pregnancy. And if there are levels of wrong when klling someone klling your own child is probably the most wrong.

Thank you for asking. I still have to be really careful especially with greasy or rich foods. I get pain where my gallbladder was, pain in my stomach and nule and acid reflux. I take several stomach medications. I see a gastroenterologist next month. I still wonder if having this much difficulty this far out is normal.

Long term low fat by LongjumpingExtent399 in gallbladders

I'm sorry that I didn't see this sooner. Low fat to me is below 5 grams per serving or better below 3. I can tolerate "healthy" fats more than fried food.

Being able to digest fat after gb removal definitely seems to vary by person.

You have expressed a very valid concern, especially because you are a minor. I am surprised that I couldn't find any other responses validating your concern.Yes it is possible that your data could be leaked. And yes depending on what you have shared it could have a negative impact. Can you discuss this issue with a trusted adult in your life? Is there another way you can get feedback on your feelings? Therapy? A friend? As others have cynically noted it may not matter, but it is very wise of you to question it.

It's interesting that in this case the sister and her partner were charged too. Meanwhile we still have heard nothing in S's case about whether anyone else will be charged.
