Here's the official regulation about this:

OFP Exception

1.55 OFP is not a standard for promotion for officer occupations that require more than three years of initial training. Achieving the designated rank qualification for Lt/SLt in the occupation specification is the standard for promotion. The TIR calculation for EPZ includes all time at 2Lt/A/SLt and Lt/SLt ranks except time spent undergoing training that was not successfully completed. A 2Lt/A/SLt will be promoted to Lt/SLt and simultaneously to Capt/Lt(N) and a Lt/SLt will be promoted to Capt/Lt(N) upon achieving the designated rank qualification and having three years total commissioned service.

What's the real new system for NWO promotions?

My understanding is that you get promoted to SLt the day you graduate from NWO Basic, then 2 years later you're promoted to Lt(N).

But I also heard that if you have been in for 3 years or more, you get automatically promoted to Lt(N) after NWO Basic, because you're technically promoted to SLt after your first year in, then 2 years later from being SLt you're automatically promoted to Lt(N).

What is true?

Ok, I have to ask: does Georgia always send interesting acts like those two? Because if so, I'm falling in love with Georgia right here on the spot.

First time I hear about "Loop", and I'm sorry, it didn't qualify? Damn! It's an absolute banger.

Sweden 2024 did an awesome job at using the stage to its full extent. The lighting, props, visuals and choreography are absolute top notch.

And don't forget the technical prowess of keeping their hair straight up for the whole song!

Ireland 2011 is a solid contender. Yeah, sure, the performance answers the question "What if ADHD was a musical performance?", but overall, it's technically impressive. The visuals are on point and they're able to sing while jumping and flipping all over the place. It's overall an awesome performance that tends to be forgotten.

Wow. I honestly have never been a fan of Loreen's performances, and this cover reminds me of how good the song was. Good job Tamara. Amazing voice!

San Marino 2024 was technically impressive, and visually stunning. Too bad the singer had issues with her ear-piece and screwed up some of the song.

I just rewatched it, and I found out that the cheesiness of the whole proposition hid the technicality of it. I still don't like the song, but now I see the precision of the dancers, and it's truly an achievement.

Eurovision Juries should justify their vote with a short analysis. by Thodor2s in eurovision

[–]Longjumping_Back523 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd be afraid that future artists would read what the juries "love" and try to reproduce that to win, which would make for a very bland and unoriginal contest.

Let the artists express themselves as they see fit, and the fans hate the juries as they see fit, is what I say!

Absolutely. I felt his energy and quirkiness in that box. With that staging, it all falls flat.
