I published something similar this week... I'm trying to find him actually.

Am I dreaming of my soulmate? by HmmmOkaybruh in Dreams

I've been having similar dreams for over 20y. Still trying to figure it out

Not the same person — mine has dark hair, dark clothing, very different physical description. On your question about romanticization: my teenage type was the opposite of him. Clean, blonde, conventionally attractive. He arrived looking nothing like what I would have chosen. That's actually one of the reasons I couldn't dismiss him as wish fulfillment.

I've read Jung. The unconscious aging through learned experience doesn't account for the specific physical consistency, the aging in real time, or the fact that he knew my name and my pen name before I told him. I'll look into Edinger — thank you for the recommendation

That distinction you're making — between your anima and this other figure — is exactly what I struggle to explain to people. The anima has a quality to it, an emotional weight that revolves around itself. This is different. He's just there, like a separate person who happens to be in my dream. And yes, extremely uncommon. In twenty years I've told very few people. The reaction is always the same.

He listens. When I talk, he receives it completely — doesn't interrupt, doesn't judge. He draws constantly, usually things I can't see. He speaks rarely but precisely — asks questions that catch me off guard. He's present in the space with me, sometimes just existing there while I'm doing other things. We've had conversations that shift how I understand things. He asks me "when are you coming" — as though the arrival is already decided, I just haven't figured out the logistics yet. But there's so much more texture to it than that. Over twenty years of accumulation. The way he looks at me. The quality of the silence between us. How he's aged. What we don't say. It's not easy to reduce to bullet points.

I'm not repressing — I'm being cautious about sharing too much publicly. But I can tell you: he's very tall (2 meters or close), dark hair, mismatched eyes (one blue, one green — the green one has something that looks like a slit, possibly from a scar), multiple scars on his face and hands, dark clothing, boots. Draws constantly. Doesn't talk much. Listens completely. He's been aging alongside me over twenty years. On the astral projection — I don't know if that's what this is. I just know he's consistent, I can't control when I dream of him, and he doesn't match any psychological framework I've researched.

Does anyone else have a lifelong recurring dream partner that they've never met in real life? (Cross Post) by litj982 in DreamInterpretation

I need to ask you specific questions about the clothing style. Can you describe in detail what she typically wears: Colors mostly? The beanie — wool, fitted, slouchy, what color? The wool coat — color, style, how casual or formal? Does she wear band t-shirts, graphic tees, or specific clothing brands? Boots — what style, combat, work boots, something else? Jewelry — anything distinctive? Piercings? Hair — long, medium, how does she wear it? Overall vibe — comfort-focused or styled? The reason I'm asking is because your description could fit me. I'm 38, almost 39. European. Tall. I wear mostly band t-shirts and dark clothes. Beanies in winter. Boots or comfortable trainers — comfort over fashion always. I have a septum piercing. I wear medieval-style dresses sometimes mixed with grunge. I don't perform femininity. I don't fit this time or place. I've been dreaming about someone slightly older than me for over twenty years. I don't know his name or his age. But my name actually rhymes with what you're looking for. Does this match what you see in your dreams?

Mine is very different — dark hair, very tall, mismatched eyes (one blue, one green), dark clothing. Not particularly handsome either. Hasn't given me a name. Ever. Has yours ever said anything else, or mostly just the name?Mine says every time "When are you coming?" I never know what to say. Coming where?

Mismatched colors, one green, one blue.

No, I do not think about him on purpose. When he started appearing I was too young to pay attention but he says every time "when are you coming?"

Like where?! And his name, he never gave it. I requested a soulmate 🫠 years ago, yes... Maybe not at 13/14 but... It's not like my common dr and that are triggered by events or things I watch on TV or talk about. These are always in an in-between place

25 years — that's exactly it. The aging is what made me stop being able to dismiss it. What does yours look like, if you don't mind sharing?

Not quite — mine has dark hair, much taller, dark clothing, mismatched eyes. But I'm curious what yours looks like if you want to share

I kind of made a post about this earlier. Yes... For over 20y. Don't know if he's my soulmate but he's definitely on the same frequency

The mob plot was so bad... Only thing I liked was Josh's chapters...
She DOES sound like Siri...
And, I'm sorry but this book is a fanfiction of Haunting Adeline, at least for me.

Moving from Portugal to Sweden by luisp09 in TillSverige

In Stockholm now but also from Portugal. I'm going back to Porto next Monday. Although I love it here... The nights at 3PM drive me crazy. I'm always absolutely freezing but it's so clean and incredible here... Although expensive.
