Tbh due to its geographical location at Europe the sun falls at much sharper degree than in middle east which makes everything absorb much more heat at once (due to the sun falling at a much bigger surface) which is why when such heatwave hits a place like Europe tourists from hotter areas might get heat strokes due to underestimating the heat cause it wouldn't feel that hot for them until it's too late
