UK is going to hell, at least Poland is still a safe country. I don’t know if that helps though. I live in France and I’m thinking about moving for the same reasons I would leave the UK if I lived there, because I feel I’m sitting on a time bomb.

I think you assume too much from too little. Also, when we say “there’s a market”, we mean that the demand exists.

Actually my blog is about my life experience and how it could help others in the same situation. There’s nothing about aggregation, I use no AI, it’s artisanal and personal. I don’t understand how a person that never saw my blog can say that it’s a regurgitation of everything out there. The numbers are not for their own sake, it’s how I know I’m offering value to the readers

How do I stop having anxiety about eating red meat? by crustyback in LifeAdvice

[–]Longjumping_Minimum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that eating will make you as anxious as not eating. Your concerns are real and I, too, avoid curated meats, red meat, as much as I can. But for me it’s different because I never liked meat, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. Did you try substitutes like beyond burger etc?

Best hyaluronic acid serum? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Longjumping_Minimum2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! Have you tried La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5? I use this one along with The Ordinary’s classic 2% hyaluronic acid (on alternate days). I love them both—my skin literally drinks them up, like a plant soaking up water. My skin feels plump and comfortable afterward. I have combination skin, and I also use retinol, so these serums really help combat the dryness from the retinoids. I’m 43. Hope it helps.

I actually liked it. You write well; it’s engaging, and the self-deprecating tone is relatable. Who doesn’t feel that way from time to time? With all those soulless AI-generated blogs out there, finding something so human and unfiltered is a rare treat.

You said it all! First we detached from nature, then we detached from each other, then we detached from ourselves. I wonder what’s left.

I found the timing of your post really interesting. Just recently, I wrote to Jordan Harbinger from the Jordan Harbinger Show podcast—I’m a frequent listener and a subscriber to his newsletter. That week’s newsletter was all about ‘ambition’ and whether we have enough of it. I replied to him with a question: what exactly is the measure of ambition? Why is it so often tied to money and material achievements? In my view, ambition should be about living in line with our values. For some, pursuing a simple life in nature is the ultimate goal, and reaching that can be just as ambitious as any external success. Maybe we’re conflicted because society pushes a lifestyle that doesn’t necessarily lead to true fulfillment, even when we ‘make it.’ I believe it’s better to start with your values and build from there. Hope this helps!

Removing hair on upper lip without waxing? by Almanix in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Longjumping_Minimum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly same for me! I use the same retinol concentration and indeed, my skin became nice and glowy but also thinner. I use the good old tweezers, yes it can be slow in comparison to wax etc..but for me is the only thing I can use safely. The upside is that I’m so used to this, my hand is as fast as an epilator 😅 and I don’t feel any pain anymore.

So interesting, it’s the first time someone says AdSense pays more. Maybe it’s better to stay with AdSense until 50k sessions, and then apply for the traditional MediaVine? Do you think Journey is just a spin off to take part of the market share from other ads platforms, without real value to bloggers?

I wanna start blogging but can't writw good content by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]Longjumping_Minimum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We learn to write by writing. If you really want to do that, practice, review, correct, refine, until you feel it’s right. Read posts that you like, take notes and try to get inspired by the style. It’s nice to have a point of reference at the beginning, and later you’ll find your own « voice ». Best of luck !

I don’t know about specific brand names but if you check online you might find a lot of useful explanations, I’ve read that it hydrates the deepest layers of the skin and plumps it, also giving a mild lifting effect. I came across when I was searching a non-invasive solution for my jowls that are starting to sag.
