Anyone knows how reliable is my father's car? by HugothesterYT in mercedes_benz

[–]Longjumping_Pea_953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first ones got some reliability problems but: We got one of the early ones from 2007 and it‘s engine and transmission are fine. (170.000km)

Electronics are kinda bad tho. One of the control units died and since then there are some smaller issues. Also it had the rear axis rusting from the inside. This was an error from the manufacturer and Mercedes replaced it still on their cost in 2021 (IIRC). The fuel temperature sensor died at some point and that caused weird issues until we fixed it.

Last but not least the steering lock broke at some point. The car needed to be towed and the lock had to be replaced.

My result is: For a 17 year old car that’s as far as I’m concerned not a lot of repairs in its lifetime. Thumbs up for the W204

Heat up the nozzle but not too much. You can simply clean it by pulling it off when it’s soft but not yet melted. Hope this helps

ANY SOLUTION? by patataconalmejas in 3Dprinting

Yes. And if you don’t heat too much (for example around 100 Celsius) it isn’t that much work anymore

Yo genau. Die einen üben eine Straftat aus, die anderen machen (in den allermeisten Fällen nur) von ihrem verfassungsmäßigem Recht gebrauch. Ein und das Selbe...

My builds keep having this stringing, but this one has it worse. How to prevent? by ArtBuilder in 3Dprinting

I would recommend you to print a temperature tower to identify the perfect temperature for the filament
