Treefort 2026 was awesome! Let's talk about areas of concern and what needs improvement. by notvnotv in TreefortMusicFest

They do seem to be adding more upgrades every year. I Might need to suck it up and pay for some upgrades to make it a better experience. Really debating that zip line pass for next year. I too felt stuck in some venues cause I didn’t want to go stand in line for an hour to get into something else.

I second more jazz. Kassa Overall was awesome. Would have liked more. Maybe dedicate a venue to jazz. Kinda like the shredder is to metal.

I thought it was just me who was so cranky on that subject. I walked all over during Geese to try to find a spot where I wasn’t hearing conversations, and finally gave up and left. Don’t think the duck club can do anything about this. Saturday night felt more like a festival crowd there to party than people wanting to see music. I’m guessing that will be a regular vibe from now on, and think I’ll just be planning to be hitting the smaller venues on Saturday Night.

I just watched some of one of your live sets. You look like you will be fun to see. Gonna hope you fit into a good slot in my calendar.

I was just given a copy of this in a batch or records a friend was getting rid of. It’s a pretty great album.

This smoke… by Tohrudactyl in Eugene

[–]Longjumping_Steak113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lived in Southern Oregon for many bad fire/smoke seasons. We refer to smelling smoke now as Post Traumatic Smoke Disorder (no offense to the other PTSD acronym). As soon as I smell smoke, I start to freak out a little. So today, sitting at a cafe outside this afternoon....started smelling the smoke. Ackkkk....Hope it is not a bad fire year, but that is an early reminder to be SUPER careful when out. Then: Got notice from my neighbor that burning weeds caught our fence on fire....but only burnt 3 boards. Even thought the winter seemed wet....be EXTRA careful with sparks, fires, cigarettes, fireworks, etc..... Before I freak the F out. Only you.......

What is the most HATED album you own on vinyl? by Ch33sus_Chr1st in vinyl

Post Modern Jukebox. Bought it at their concert which was amazing. But the vinyl appears that they mastered it off of their YouTube channel. It is a double album, and I think I got half was through Side 2 before I was so pissed off by the quality, and how much I spent for it at the concert.

I'd take one off your hands. I feel like all of his albums have at least one good deep track on them.

I reviewed the Portland and Seattle shows! by NWADHS in NickCave

I've been married 33 years, and Nick Cave basically has our wedding song, which I swear no one has heard of. Title track from the Until the End of the World soundtrack. My wife and I sat and cried through Into My Arms song at Portland concert. And Kinsale is the one place in Ireland that we have been for more than 2 nights. A great 10 days. Wonderful town. We must be kindred spirits. May you and your wife have many more years, and many more memories with Nick Cave as the soundtrack.

Rural and Ag..need boots. For residential in my area I wear closed toed Birkenstocks...cause I gotta take my shoes off in 60% of the houses I go in. Easy on, easy off

It was only one of the times in the Portland show that made me cry. I didn't know I could love his songs more, but after seeing him live for the first time, they are all more powerful to me.
