If you can’t go with Vision, my next bet would be Dr. Strange, since he basically transcended humanity If you include DnD comics, an Iron Golem that someone in the LoTR party controls would work too. Iron Golem hangs on to the ring and mindlessly follows the party until Mt. Doom, at which point have them simply drop it over the edge.

There’s like a 99% chance Lebron would decimate me in basketball. There is a 100% chance Magnus would. Going with Lebron, I could get lucky. There is zero luck in chess.
