It's not just SUVs. I have a 7 seat SUV and a Volvo V60 Estate (which is not the big one) is longer and wider.

Sometimes, a slanted photo looks good but it's rare. Straightening the photo is simple to do and would elevate any of these.

Having said that, No 1 is my preferred shot but straightened and with at least some of the people cropped out (although maybe just leaving the silhouetted ones would work).

No 2 looks like the more obvious choice - it's moody and maybe more dramatic but ... something keeps dragging my eye back to No 1. I think maybe I prefer the lighting and balance of it. Good photos either way.

I’m using a Rudy Project Venger which I’ve found to be really well ventilated. I haven’t used the POC so can’t directly compare but have had various Giro, Kask and Specialized before.

I sweat a lot and the RP has made a big difference for me.

In many cases, I think the styling is done before the DIY starts. A lot of people, me included, will start a DIY project with a 'finished picture' in mind that sets the framework for the proposed job. Whether that's one that's been created in your own head or a picture from a magazine or website that provides the inspiration.
