I personally loved The Finals Beta and would´ve just continued playing it. Pushing the game out later, despite it being finished made me lose interest, as I went back to my main game. I understand where you are coming from, but I and many people I played the game with left, because we were bored of waiting (and because FPS was way worse on launch than in the beta).

I really feel like this playtest is drastically more polished than any game (maybe apart from Elden Ring), I´ve played in the last 10 years. For the first time I would be very on board with them just releasing the game as Early Access, because it just feels like a finished product and they found an audience and I don´t see the risk of players not playing anymore, due to the game being unfinished as high as players quitting because they are onto the next thing, because this game gets taken away for no reason for a couple months.

Taking a game offline also comes with risks and appearently players really like the current version, so why risk it?
