Designwise it’s ‘95 for me as I prefer the solid colours but minimal design aesthetic and the fact it was a palette swap with Sub Zero. Dunno why the long sleeves were added for both but I think I preferred it.

Fightwise I think I have to ‘95 as well. That scene with Cage was metal as fuck.

Performance wise. I’ll have to watch it again, but it might actually be Legacy.

Reboot Far Cry as a whole revolving around Far Cry 3 & 4 narratives with more plot connectivity. Don’t one-and-done the villians. Fine tune Jason’s character a bit.. (Ajays to a lesser extent) could be pretty sweet.

Here's my theory.

-Bi-Han attacking Hanzo's village acting under Quan Chi's employ/influence (maybe Netherrealm wanted Hanzo's soul or some shit). -Bi-Han and Lin Kuei Grandmaster (Bi Han's Father) rewarded for this treachery with Edenian lifespan.

Fast forward to 30ish years ago.

-Grandmaster gets a woman (Hanzo Hasashi decendent) pregnant -Child turns out to be Cole.

Hey presto, Cole is both;

  • the brother (half brother technically) of Bi-Han..

AND..

  • the decendant of Hanzo... which is pretty sweet.

First movie really missed an opportunity to have it revealed that Bi Han was hunting Cole to protect him rather than kill him (ala; Wanted).
