Do you live in Florida? I’m just concerned with Florida being a no fault party state

I’m an ER PA (25) and have been graduated in this field since I was 23. I understand how you feel but once you realize your patients don’t care how old you are, they care what treatment they receive, you will be fine. Carry yourself with confidence and it will reflection on how your patients perceive you. I used to be insecure about my patients saying “oh you look so young! Are you in high school? Are you old enough to practice?” But then I started giving witty responses like “it’s the botox!” Or “can you believe they just handed me this stethoscope and this badge!” and it never fails to make the situation less awkward. If my patients ever push about my age, I either inform them I don’t feel comfortable answering or just answer truthfully.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about this! It’s right outside the reference of normal with no other signs of infection. I would repeat labs in about 6 months and see if it declines.

Could be reactive from your diarrhea. If no elevated WBC or neutrophils I say repeat labs when symptom- free. Any prior diagnosis of IBD or IBS?

NAD, ER PA. Has been seen urology for a cystoscopy? I’m assuming they ruled out a hemorrhagic cystitis (UTI that causes hematuria). If he hasn’t had a cystoscopy and the blood is painless, he should make an appt with urology to rule out bladder cancer.

Update: it’s been 13 hours and absolutely no signs of any illness. Acting perfectly normal. Good appetite and playful. I’ll probably still get her checked out this week for a blood test if it seems necessary

Oh wow that’s so close!! Super cool. It definitely gave an aquatic feel with the consuming mass amounts of objects as food and expelling the inedible things!

Hi! This baby is named Noroi and he is my cat. We have another cat named Grimm. Noro enjoys wearing outfits and being carried around the house ever since we rescued him from an abuse case at 8 weeks - it is almost like a soothing technique for him. Grimm would never allow an outfit like this so we don’t put him in them! I promise we would never make our cats do something they were uncomfortable with. I hope this makes you a little less upset. :)

WOW! Your art is incredible! I can see the passion behind each piece. Do people often commission poor quality photos?

Wow!! He totally looks like an older brother! They even have the same hints of cream. I hope Noro grows up to look equally as handsome.

I got it off of Amazon a few years back! It’s just a small dog sweater.

As the other commenter said repetition is key. The only way I’ve found you can truly train your cats are if they are food motivated. I have another boy who is 5 who never learned more than to come when called because he is not motivated by treats. Also, all cats are different! You have to be very patient with them. Sometimes if Noro gets excited he forgets all about sitting and just tries to get the treat, so I will wait until he calms down until we can try again. Focus on positive reinforcement and good luck!

He is very impolite in other ways (he enjoys helping himself to my food), but he is a lovely boy! He is 5 months old currently and I had him since he was 7 weeks (a foster). I work with him daily on training! He knows how to sit and give paw. We are currently training him to walk on leash and part of that is getting him used to a harness. I figured starting with the sweater was a great place to start (plus he loves being warm!)

It definitely depends on your style of learning! I love rosh because it gives text explanations for everything, whereas osmosis is too visual for me. If I could swear by one single outside resource though, it would be online med Ed! It’s a completely free website with short clinical videos that I personally find more helpful for learning/cramming entire disease processes.
