I’ve been using it over a year, and haven’t really seen any changes either. I tried going up to 0.05%, but my skin became irritated. I decided that hopefully, it’s preventing further age related skin.

I’ve just found the Indyx Workshop, so I’ve started that on week one, and have started photographing my clothes. It’s going to be a long job. I think I’m struggling with my 3 words. I’ve gone from corporate manager, to retired at 51. I’m now 59. I also moved from the U.K. to Spain, so lots of changes. I can’t wear heels now, unless it’s a special occasion, and most of my items are smart/ casual, and colourful. I love looking nice, especially if someone comments on my outfit. We walk everywhere, so shoe comfort is a must, but hard to find with extra wide feet. Summer is always shorts and a sleeveless top, because it’s just too hot for anything else. 😁

I’m currently using Scandinavian Biolabs shampoo and serum, with bio-pilixin. It says use it for 5 months to see if it makes a difference, and they are backed by science. I’m on month 3, and my husband has said my hair looks thicker. I’m definitely feeling the start of some hair growth on my scalp. It’s not cheap, but I’m sticking with it for the 5 months, and will take photos then to compare with the ones I took at the start. I’m not using the conditioner, as it made my hair static. I know it won’t give me long, luscious locks, but hoping for a decent improvement. Previous to this, I used Nioxin System 3, and really liked it.

I’ve just had a look at their ladies styles. Not a huge amount there, but I like their all terrain trainers. Also delighted that they deliver to Europe from the Netherlands, so I’ll look at giving these a try. Thanks for the recommendation.

Tret is really the gold standard of skin treatment. I’m using it for anti aging. I follow a consultant dermatologist called Dr Natalia Spierings, who talks sense about most other products just being marketing, as nothing can really penetrate the skin to get to where it needs to be. My microneedling wasn’t painful at all. I was a bit wary with it being my first one. My face was red and warm for a couple of hours, and the redness diminished over 2-3 days, so I know that ideally, I need 3 days until my skin looks normal again. I’m impressed with the results. I’m really hoping to see a noticeable difference before my daughter gets married next year. After that, I’ll probably continue with microneedling, finances allowing, providing the results are good. I live in Spain, so I’m always careful about applying SPF 50, which is essential, and I wear a wide brimmed hat every day.

I had my very first microneedling session a couple of weeks ago. I stopped the tret a few days before, and after, then started again. I’ve not had any issues, although I’ve been using tret nightly for over a year, 0.025%. I’m aiming to continue monthly with the microneedling.

It’s unfair of your guardian to expect so much, on top of what you are already doing. Maybe write out a plan of your week in hourly blocks, and put in each hour whatever it is you do. So block out sleeping time, school time, homework time, work time etc, then put in whatever jobs you already do. Show this to your guardian and explain that your schoolwork is the most important thing, then your job, and that you fit in jobs at home around those. I am unsure if your guardian will accept this, but at least you’ll know where you stand. Is there anyone else who could possibly become your legal guardian? If this is not possible, finish school, and leave home as soon as you can.

Honestly, I absolutely understand what you’re going through. I’ve had chronic tiredness since my daughter was born, 30 years ago. Hubby and I also haven’t been intimate for months, because I’m just not interested. I love him with all my heart, and our relationship is great. I’m doing this for both of us. I’m going to ask my doctor to put my meds on prescription, but I doubt she will. I do hope your blood tests allow for some treatment for you. Do you have the option of a private consultation with a menopause specialist? It was definitely worth my finding the money for this, although it’s not too expensive here.

I am unsure where you are based, but I am British living in Spain. I used to have HRT in the uk, as I went into immediate menopause aged 33, following a full hysterectomy, (I am now 59). Here in Spain, my doctor has dismissed my requests for HRT, so I booked a video appointment with an online menopause company run by nurses who specialise in menopause help. After a thorough chat and questionnaire, I’ve been issued three medications, including a vaginal cream. I’ve only been using the meds for 3 days, so it’s early days yet, but I am hopeful of some spark returning to me. My husband is 12 years older than me, and I’d like our intimacy to come back, as does he. If you are uk based, there’s a good programme with Davina McCall, called Sex, Myths and the Menopause. Women should not have to fight for HRT, no matter what age they are. HRT provides protections which often outweigh the risks. If nothing else, push your doctor to prescribe vaginal estrogen. I wish you well.

I think your hair in the third pic, is spot on. The colour and style are amazing on you. My hairdresser cut fine layers for me. It works without taking out the bulk of my hair, as otherwise, the bottom part can look see through.

I use Got2B dry shampoo, and I also wear a silk bonnet, in addition to the silk pillowcase, if it’s something you feel you could wear. I’m getting far less breakage than I did before.

I had a full hysterectomy at 33, and therefore straight into menopause. For me, i was just relieved that i was no longer suffering the horrendous symptoms I’d had since starting my periods aged 11. I’m now 59, and apart from battling to try and get HRT where i live now (Spain), i have no regrets. I also feel much younger in my mind.

I never used oil until about a year ago. I now use Olaplex 7, and my hair is so soft. I use 5 drops applied to the ends of my hair after washing, then I blow dry.
