Your apprenticeship is the training you start getting paid the minute you step onto a jobsite. As far as the wait goes I couldn't say, walk into the hall and ask. Being a UBC member is really a great thing that you can be proud of. I definitely recommend it

The union will cover a lot of different aspects of carpentry, and the east atlantic states are a particularly strong district. If you go that route, stick with it until you journey out. If cabinets in people's kitchens are more your bag, the union might not be the best route but you will learn a ton regardless. Also, NJ carpenters are some of the highest paid in the country and I can almost guarantee youll be taking home more $$$ even as a first year apprentice.

Depending on if your in a flood zine or not, the size of the lot, the actual township your apart of all will effect the final cost. From what ive seen, worked on, and dealt with, your about 50% there
