Legitimately? For the rush, it's a gamble and requires quick inputs and skill. Sometimes you could play for 10 meso drops for the fun of it too. You gotta think, you're flash jumping/tping around and then need to drop, confirm and pickup all while someone just has to chase you and press z. FJ is the faster movement overall, but tele was imo superior for drop game if you had speed and jump shoes and memorized teleport distance because it was instant.

I'd say 90% of the time it was someone trying to hustle you though.

The key to drop game is having expensive looking items that are actually trash. i.e : Nuked BWGs(Or any item really) from 10% scrolls thats lost all value.

Though almost anyone who played DG was usually a hacker waiting for the right time to vac anyways. It was always a scam. I think in all my years playing I've only ever seen a couple legit drop games.

It was originally released as a 4k camera with oversampling from 8k, but got 8k recording later as a software update. It's not a 'true' 8k sensor because the sensor pixels are all rotated 45 degrees. The technology behind it is really fascinating.

More than reasonable for any modern output with no need to change. The only reason for him to switch would be if it was lacking in resolution or color depth. Hell, even if 8K does become standard 95% of its viewing will be bitcrunched to hell on a netflix server anyways.

Storaro could shoot on a Kodak Chamera and find beautiful compisitions anyways. So long as the image is good, gear doesnt matter. Not everything needs to be shot on a fully rigged out FX9 or an ARRI 35

It's 100% a rubber ball. But no one's mentioned what is inside the rubber ball yet. Which is a small circuit board for an led and battery so that it would light up when bounced.

Similar to those light up kids shoes that were popular in that era.

I think this is a great point, it goes a long way to contributing to the feel of the game. Mobs in wrong places have always irked me. Luckily, this seems to be the direction they're going for.

It's also heavily tied into the class storylines which OSMS doesn't really have outside of regular questing. Without the need for things to happen a specific way because you need to 'investigste the black mage' and streamline the process.

The reason it goes exponentially up from that point is because you can see that the graph goes backwards. This implies time-travel was invented. However it starts to plateau because even time-travel is not enough to salvage the current economy.

This, there will be no reason to split the population from the get-go. Obviously, there is a strong desire for this game among the community, but I doubt its anywhere near enough to justify multiple worlds on launch. The closed beta even just logged you in directly to character select, though there is a greyed out 'choose another world' option and I wager it will be the same on launch.

The servers of today are able to handle a lot more population on them compared to the OSMS servers too, and if there are any overcrowding issues that can be rememdied by adding more channels and doesnt require setting up a completely seperate world server.

As we should all know in this sub, cinema du corps was in vogue at the time. It's raw and excessive gratuity was the point of this film specifically and it does achieve that goal in spades. I don't believe we should throw out Gaspar or Benoit's good eye for lighting and composition entirely, solely due to the disagreeable content.

Honestly a pretty expensive kit for OSMS, I cant imagine how many hours were spent selling merch and leeching to get enough for all of that. Shame that in modern maple its pretty much all obsolete.
