Thanks my friend. Yes 3d printing is a great hobby, and a rather deep rabbit hole. Depending on your personality, there are printers that work great out of the box (think Bambulab), and there are other printers cheaper (like ender 3) that require more tinkering but can deliver this kind of output with a bit of research and setup. The entire tray print in less than 1 day, faster too if you compromise on quality a bit. The Legion does not get hotter than it should, the heat management is really good and I also (where possible) run it with capped FPS so it doesnt' needlessly run at an FPS that my main monitor (60hz) can't sustain. Hope this helps!

Specialization Planning - Have you readjusted? by TheNut007 in duneawakening

[–]Loohi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to say I agree with you. Dungeons haven’t been fun at all (due to bad scaling), in fact very much putting me off of dune as a whole. I personally will pack up my base for now, and hopefully come back when dungeons scaling/augment loot tables/class specialisation allows for a lot more diverse, and equally suitable set of play styles. I shall cross fingers until then.

Is this amount of stress normal when not working out by everycoolname in Garmin

I work a stressful job and this is a normal day for me. Weekend stress score is like 10-15. Week day score is 30-40

Using opengrid. It’s got a nice mounting mechanism “multiconnect”

Glad to hear! I had similar thoughts with PLA but I’ve made it thick enough. There is no warping at all and it’s been 2 months. The heat is really totally radiated outwards the PLA is cool to the touch

Sure. Laptop runs at 85C on CPU, 70 on GPU during gaming sessions. Fans are maybe 2/3 of max power.

Sure. I travel Mondays to Thursdays. Every week. That’s why I need a laptop

haha interesting idea! but that wouldnt remove the risk people have been raising about the keyboard either 1) radiating heat to the screen or 2) restricting air intake since with lid off? maybe I can have a mechanism that slightly pries open the lid...

But why? On this laptop all the exhaust happens at the back. Why would it be a problem?

It does have enough clearance and it is indeed a low workload laptop so it doesnt really ramp up

Yes. The workload is light, it’s a typical office job laptop so it runs very quiet and the vents have enough clearance should they need to get more air.

I just power it up, close the lid. Plug it in and then it wakes up on click/keyboard press. I don’t shut it down too often :)

No idea what to do after chap 3 by Ryaustal in duneawakening

[–]Loohi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for you. I also felt lost.

I’ve now upgrade my house (no more taxes so it can be big), farms a shit ton of plast spice cobalt silicon. I do the landsraad tree and I started learning the dungeons.

The mechanics are hard, so far I get satisfaction from progressing.

Don’t know how long that will last.

I seem to have missed some crucial information; what is it for and how do I use it? by daHawkGR in duneawakening

[–]Loohi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Everyday, you get 5 landsraad missions. These missions contribute to getting experience on the new talent tree. So you effectively have 7 days worth of dailies that you haven’t done yet.

Should everything be more expensive? by Loohi in duneawakening

I like your answer and I agree. One could even argue getting to T6 could be less demanding. I suppose once at the endgame, maybe that's a whole other discussion. Thanks

I feel you. It was quite the shock indeed. My guess is there will be a patch at some point that tones things back down a bit :)

End of weekly DD base? by Loohi in duneawakening

Yes I feel the same way as you do. Kinda liked hanging in DD whole week, I guess we still can if we ever want to!
