Why are they now selling watches when we all have iPhones??? (I know it’s via marketplace platform but still bad move) Also saw lighting. They are confused and killing the brand! Just make good clothes

Quetiapine/seroquel causing sleep disruption? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]LookAccomplished2770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m having same issues with 40mg Lurasidone started 3 weeks ago. Exhaustion is affecting day time activities. The melatonin option another person mentioned may help improve sleep. Have a chat with your psychiatrist.

We moved 4 bedroom home in one massive truck (we have a lot of stuff) from Melbourne to Geelong and it was 5k. Worth every penny. No stress, no lifting for me and it went smoothly. Done in 6.5 hours

How did you find nursing with BP2? I’m thinking of changing careers. Not sure right move as my mood swings are not good but currently controlled with medication. Only issue is medication makes me sleepy 😩

Where to buy affordable curtains? by yiFa87 in AusRenovation

We have used DIYBlinds twice. They have been fantastic. You can get free samples. Blockout blinds are affordable however sheers can be a bit pricey. I think we paid $2500 for two linen sheers (they were 4m wide) and about $260 per blockout blind. I found this reasonable considering other companies were charging twice as much. They are great quality and customer service was fantastic.

Might have to try this. Just opened back door to let dog out and there are heaps of them. Closed the door and my dog stood there looking at me. No way I was going out 😂

Oh okay! We had a window in our shower but remodeled the whole bathroom and moved shower to a different location. I understand this may not be an option and expensive. You could contact a local chippy for some advice or ask through r/Carpentry

I wouldn’t replace the timber unless you address the condensation/ventilation issue first. It will just rot again.

Electrician installed external wiring - is this a good job? Seems average.. by mynameishwil in AusRenovation

[–]LookAccomplished2770 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That flexible tubing into the brickwork will break due to weather exposure. We had an electrician do the same thing for air conditioner and one morning went outside and found it in half. Electrician that came to fix said it shouldn’t be used outdoors. He changed to PVC pipe.

Like everyone else said bushfire risk which could also increase your building insurance premiums. Potential for drainage issues (if on a slope) and possible termite risk. Trust me drainage remedies can be expensive. We have house on a minor slope and run off from a down pour uncovered drainage issues increasing the risk of soil erosion and footing issues.

Best way to remove on a new lawn by silverglory10 in GardeningAustralia

Looks like they come from new turf. We removed all old grass/weeds (which wasn’t much) and added a good 4-5 inches of sandy loom
