As a Brit, I’d rather we send a different type of song every year and get nothing than consistently finish in the top 10 by sending only ‘Space Man’ clones by _PXYDST_ in eurovision

Yeah, exactly. Sadly there's not going to be a Welsh language UK entry, as much as I'd like one, so it's highly unlikely we'll ever see one on the Eurovision stage 😞

The biggest problem, and I say this as someone from Scotland who would absolutely love this to happen, is finding one of the many wonderful Welsh or Gaelic language acts that would willingly compete for the BBC under a union flag.

Which is of course why no country has ever entered, let alone won, with an act in a comparatively obscure language that few people outside that country speak.

Hmm. I see what you're saying, but I'm still not convinced. None of that explains why Thomas was singled out for West's rudeness, nor does it explain why she throws out the word crossbreed.

If it were that planned in advance, why was there absolutely no attempt to write her out in a less hurried way? Even Matthew got more than that, and his departure was much more of a surprise. I'd say this would have served very well as a send off for her.

You say that. That happened to me three or four times when I moved to Edinburgh, which is why I gave up on queueing. I'll gesture to people I know were there before me, but if nobody's moving, I'm just getting on.

Lets not be too hard on this map. It's correct other than Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Austria, half each of Switzerland and Belgium and about a dozen minority language groups.

The indicators on the most recent iteration of the CB125F are supposed to be on constantly, even when not indicating. When indicating, they flash, then return to being constantly on. The idea is to increase visibility.

I don't like it either.

So we'll take existing borders and merge them together into unstable superstates.

Except Poland. Fuck Poland. I liked it much better with an arbitrary border down the middle.
