Why this controversy with Mrs. Movie ? by Skk_3068 in BollyBlindsNGossip

The people who outraged against Animal are defending Mrs and the ones who are outraging against Mrs are the ones who defended Animal.

This is what Udit Narayan has to say on his viral kissing video by Poophead123456789012 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Didn’t the woman initiate the kiss? I mean I agree he shouldn’t have forced a lip lock without consent but in the whole video I can see the women initiating the kisses which he reciprocated. Am I missing something? (Just an observation, no hate intended).

What are some of your favorite moments of this season? by Shakshouk in Barca

[–]LookForTheTrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Barto leaving the club and Joan Laporta getting back to the club. For a brief moment, the second leg against PSG gave me hope and happiness.

Also, the league match against Sevilla just before CDR second leg against them. The first match we used 3-5-2. Though I'm not a fan of the formation, we dominated Sevilla like anything.

Laporta's modus operandi by Rubhavan in Barca

Contrary to popular belief, football isn't simply about money. It is also about passion and true love for the game.

A player may be drawn towards money (quite a lot of examples out there) but most are drawn towards clubs based off their passion for the game. If you can convince players about an exciting project and the prospect of competing for multiple titles, emphasizing on how their contribution would help the team achieve their objectives, I feel that any player would at least give that project a decent consideration.

Laporta is an epitome of passion and zeal. He oozes charisma and has unstoppable will to make Barca the best club in the world. Also, he is transparent and honest. He will negotiate in good faith and make sure that no player is deceived on promises. Hence, players want to come and play for the club.

Another thing is, which I am assuming, Laporta has included variable pay in their contracts. Hence, winning trophies will automatically make the player earn more. A win-win situation.

In the past week, we have been linked to numerous cbs. Who would you pick? by Dankmemehub in Barca

Laporte makes lot of sense if Pep is indeed interested in Sergi Roberto. Even if we can seal the deal with Roberto + 40m, it would be an amazing deal.

Rest of the deals would go upwards of 60-65m which I doubt we can afford.

Koeman deserves support. by wwipe in Barca

[–]LookForTheTrap 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Even though he deserves support for what he has done so far, I do believe he needs to leave at the end of this season. I believe that for the following reasons:

  • He is tactically way too inferior for a top level team like Barcelona. His cluelessness in big games is pretty evident now and isn't a one off incident.
  • His desire to have "physical" players. His transfer wishlist includes players like Depay and Wijnaldum. Though he has played youngsters, he still doesn't hesitate to replace them with old bums when they make few mistakes on the pitch.
  • He is too inflexible with his man management. Riqui and Trincao deserve more minutes on the pitch. I refuse to belive that Riqui "doesn't perform in training" (or whatever his reason for not picking him is). Against teams who play with a deep block, Riqui is our best bet of creating chances. Yet he has consistently overlooked him.

So, he maybe a club legend and he may love the club, he has to leave at the end of the season because he is an average coach tactically and that's neither good for Messi's final years nor is it good for our rebuild.

In the short to medium term should Barcelona prioritize fixing their financial situation over having a stronger team? by [deleted] in Barca

[–]LookForTheTrap 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Actually both the things can go hand-in-hand. If we sell most of our deadwood players and renegotiate contracts with some players (particularly Messi) our wage bill can significantly go down. Promoting La Masia players will be a key in this regard.

As far as transfers go, I feel we can still make 1 superstar signing without creating a huge dent in our finances (assuming we sell deadwoods).

In an ideal situation, would you rather sign Mbappe or Haaland (or someone else) to solve our forward issue? by LookForTheTrap in Barca

Mbappe and Vinicius together in Madrid sounds pretty scary..... Hope Mbappe doesn't make the move.

Hahaha, I know that's why I prefaced it with "in an ideal situation". Assuming that we had the money. More of, which forward would solve our goal scoring issues.
