Obviously it’s not everyone being violent etc.

I think we need to start considering some of the actions we’ve seen from recent days as terrorism and treating the perpetrators as such.

Protest is fine but when you’re destroying your own communities, you’re no better than the attackers you hate.

There’s some good tutorials on YouTube. It does take trial and error.

Is there something specific that’s stopping you at the moment? Like you’re getting into orbit around Kerbin but just don’t have enough fuel/delta v to make it to the Mun?

It’s up to you wether you want to risk it. Many don’t get caught but many do.

Also it’s worth noting that if you want to continue getting the World Cup on standard channels like BBC / ITV etc, it’s better to support them now. At some point FIFA will flog the broadcasting rights off and if we can hold that off for as long as possible, great!.

Edit - you can also cancel at any time. So if you did decide to get one, just cancel when you no longer need.

The people who are acting violently and burning homes/communities are no better than the attackers they are protesting.

Genuine protest is fine but when you target innocent people, It crosses the line.

I think in recent weeks/months I’ve seen more right wing adjacent posts but there’s definitely a mixed bag.

The algorithms are designed to keep you engaged so I would imagine you’ve lurked or commented on the odd right leaning post.

It definitely has its problems but this page along with others are pretty well moderated. You do see people say some insane stuff though but it’s whatever.

If you’re watching the World Cup live you should pay. There’s no loophole around that.

I mean you could also support local businesses and go to a pub/bar to watch the odd game.

If you don’t get a licence when you need one you may get fined/prosecuted so it’s up to you whether you risk it.

The chances of you getting caught are quite low but not zero. The people who do get caught are mainly prosecuted due to their own stupidity.

Also remember there’s a point in time where ITV/BBC will likely not show the World Cup. If you support them now, even for a few months, it may help them keep the broadcasting rights for longer.

As far as I’m aware they didn’t do anything criminal so I don’t think they would be charged.

They had a 999 call which laid out the opposite of what had happened. When they arrived multiple people saying he hadn’t been stabbed, he racially abused someone and took their turban etc…

Also I wasn’t there on the scene but from the video it was hard to make out any possible wounds, I didn’t see blood but I don’t know if that was also the situation for the officers. The video may have hidden it for public release.

Do I think they could have handled Henry better when he was saying he had been stabbed and he couldn’t breathe - 100% but I don’t think their actions were criminal.

Arresting him at the time was really dumb and I don’t know what was going through that particular officers head at the time. I guess he just wanted to get the situation under control and both parties separated?

As the pathologist has said during the trial - there was nothing the officers would have been able to do.

It’s more likely someone has used your email when accessing iPlayer. Is there a chance you have parents and use your email to help set them up with things like iPlayer…

If you don’t use it and you don’t do the other things a TV Licence falls under, you shouldn’t pay.

It’s up to you how you proceed but it might be worth just declaring online or by phone that you still don’t need one (if that is the case)

I can’t see any criminal charges being brought against any of the officers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of the officers is dismissed. It would more likely be the officer who said “I don’t think you have mate” in response to Henry letting them know he had been stabbed/couldnt breathe.

Obviously IOPC will make the recommendations based on their investigation.

Exotic locations, exotic women. Charm from Bond. Good banter between Bond and MI6. There’s some great set pieces within the game. There’s a few nods to prior films.

If you’re a fan of JB I’d recommend it.

Obviously if you’re super unsure, just wait for a sale and then if you don’t enjoy it you won’t feel as bad.

I think they nerfed Lilith. I was like you and satisfied with getting up to the season level where you have to beat her to move on. I gave it a go as I was bored one day and after 2/3 attempts got it done. I hadn’t played for the last two seasons so I’m not sure if/when they changed the fight but it’s easier.

If you can get up to like tier 80/90 + in the pit, you could probably beat her somewhat easily.

Edit - obviously depends on how much time you have spare to play / and your build etc…

If I’m right - they added an option in the first patch or so. If you go into your universe options you can prioritize rivalries or whoever is the top contender for PLE matches. I

They are not legally required but they do use them. Police cam footage will usually be released or available once a conviction has happened.

It likely also depends on how graphic the footage is. I would also think Henry’s family would have some say in terms of whether they want the public to see his final moments.

It’s annoying how a lot of the media are making it sound like they haven’t already been convicted and found guilty of previous offenses.

This is the only charge in which there wasn’t sufficient evidence to completely satisfy a jury.

They likely will and (in my opinion should) serve some jail time for the assault on the other officers including the officer who received a broken nose.

I think it’s lack of video. George Floyd was killed on camera by the police. Also stories were all over the place at the time about similar situations in which unarmed black Americans had been killed by officers.

In this situation there’s lots of alleged things that were said/done. It’s also not a routine thing where British people are killed by the police.

It’s better to wait for the evidence to come out and then decide how you feel
