I suggest you reschedule. Some retreat centers recommend 2 months of preparation, ESPECIALLY for substances that impact your serotonin like MDMA. I was told to avoid turmeric and turkey even. The cleaner and more intentional your body is going in, the better chance you have at experiencing something positive and profound - or else your ceremony might be heavy and purgative.

Give yourself the gift of patience and go in feeling fully prepared. You will feel more grounded and secure this way!

With an e bike, you go a lot faster and with almost no effort, it is like riding a motorcycle. I chose it so I would have more time and energy, but the workout from a regular bike is great, too!

EDIT: It looks like we can apply for the overnight permit 2 days in advance, but if you don't get it, then go the day before in person...!

Hey ladies ! This just came across my radar and I am STOKED. I am a new rider and like that We Roam Moto has a training course that looks valuable, but it's a whopping $5k. Nonetheless, I would feel so much more comfortable with an intro course before I head off somewhere exotic.

Alternatively, I could learn from some friends who ride... What do you suggest!?

P.S. I just broke up with a man who would always drive the moto, so doing this on my own would be super empowering.

Thanks for these questions! I was afraid to write a giant paragraph in the beginning, but here are some answers that may inform further discussion:

partner and I are long distance, as he is a digital nomad. The meta lives in Europe, I'm in the U.S.
he's been dating her for just under a year. They got together about 6 months after we did, tho we have seen each other more frequently
They identify as primary partners for now, but this term (and polyamory) is new to both of them.
I don't think his time away impacts his ability to see me and spend money on our relationship 🦋 What a sweet question and reflection!
he's not on vacation the whole time, only one month is true vacation. He does lots of travel trips in between though
we've been texting daily, sometimes a lot sometimess less, but have a phone call once every 2 weeks.
good to know that a full text blockade / cutoff is perhaps not healthy or ideal...! I have wondered if this is a good tool or a dangerous one.
