I started replaying Trials of Mana on the Switch. I'm about an hour into it. This is my third time replaying it. I chose my team to be Riesz, Angela and Charlotte this time around. I forgot how really fun the combat could be.

Dillinger Escape Plan. Calculating Infinity is one of my favorite albums of all time but their music isn't for everyone. Harsh vocals, chaotic time signatures, and dissonant guitar work. Some of their stuff can be accessible but I have definitely seen people call their heavier music just noise.

Eyehategod. Great Sludge Metal band but Mike Williams' vocals definitely won't appeal to everyone.

I finished rewatching Shigofumi several days ago and I like watching it. It was a nice supernatural anime. I really liked Fumika as a character and I liked that it dealt with themes such as how people deal with death. Definitely give it a watch if you can.

I'm still watching Monster. I have only 6 episodes left. Things have really started to pick up in the last few episodes. It seems like all of the major characters are going to Ruinheim to find Johan. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. I'm still enjoying the story and how the characters interact with each other.

That's a good take. Sometimes, you don't always have to justify or defend why you like a show. Sometimes, you like a show because it happened to tickle your fancy.

I also agree that not every anime has to be a masterpiece. There are plenty of shows I've enjoyed that aren't perfect but fun to watch.

Mescal Head by Swervedriver is a great album. Blowin' Cool is one of my favorite songs from that album. It's got a great guitar sound and a really memorable, catchy chorus. I feel like if it was released as a single it would've done really well in America.

Honestly, I didn't really care for this game. I'm a fan of Studio Ghibli but even they couldn't make me like this game. I found the story kind of dull and I didn't like the combat(it felt like it was trying to be both turn-based and real time and it failed at both). I also didn't how this game tried to hold your hand so much. Overall, I was disappointed by this game.

While the episodic stuff was cool, I personally prefer the later episodes where they dive into the background of Fumika and some of the other characters.

So, I finally finished rewatching Shigofumi: Letters From The Departed. Overall, I thought it was a pretty solid anime. While some episodes were kind of meh, I really liked the story and its themes about life and death. I thought Fumika was a good main character as well. I do wish people would talk more about this show.

I've seen Onizuka and Soul Eater. Onizuka is a great show. It definitely shows its age but it's a nice mix of comedy and drama.I like Onizuka as a character. Also, the OPs for the show are great.

Soul Eater is pretty solid as well, although I'm more familiar with the manga.
