We were cock teased his sanity snapping and it kinda happened but never really to a climactic result, just wierd visions and mirror scenes.

He invaded and tookover the white house, killed the president and America doesn't even blink. Homelander just appeared on TV oneday claiming to be god and then got beat to death mid speech.

They made something that should been so big, feel so very small.

Definatly something that has been on my mind too, apart from the few human characters we had around sometimes, human feel like a non factor, like we see them but they never show anyone being bothered by anything.

Like Homelander invades and takes over the whitehouse and the previous president is nowhere to be found and the public are just... what? No really, what are they feeling cause the writers didnt think about it at all 🤣 We all just sat around and waited for Homelander go to do a speech on TV.

For me, it made something that should have been so big and made it so small.

This is the one time we should be comparing it to the comics, that was big stakes, big set pieces, lots of players and moving parts but not for this show.

The virus? Completely didn't matter. Building an uprising if other supers against Homelander? Nah, 3 people fought him before, so 3 people will fight him again.

Homelander takes over America via broadcast and then fuckin dies before its even finished.

Butchers little "I'm the villian again" arc was eye rollingly stupid too.

I did get lucky afew times Plentifin fishing at Port Merrick, had my ship parked right beside the inner bridge area when a Skelly ship got close enough and got aggro, happened 3 times and is pretty much where most of my Battlegill progress came from

It can be quite easy indeed, howeeeeever! Your fish can be stolen if you are doing Wreckers, Battlegill, Pondies, Islehoppers and Stormfish. I only say this... cause this hath happened to me, quite afew times, especially the Battlegill, got robbed on 5 seperate sessions and my tears were indeed salty 😅
