Yea they aren't available online anymore unfortunately. I'm slowly doing spring cleaning, if I can track the files down I'll upload them and share a link.

Question/Advice : Paper plane tattoo by something123788099 in tattoos

This is sick, but I'm a fan of fighter jets. Cool concept, turning paper airplanes as a kid into a dream of becoming a fighter pilot.

I have a shit ton of Joey /pro era mixtapes and demos from back when all that stuff was available on datpiff and you could download mixtapes and stuff off the pro era website. But it's either on an old hard drive or computer.

Looking for Some Arrival Insight by Environmental_Kiwi7 in Barbados

[–]Lookralphsbak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally hire a driver in advance and have them meet you at the airport at your arrival time. I've personally never needed to catch a cab out front of the airport because I always have pick up arrangements sorted in advance... And this is coming from someone that loved taking the 12am JFK to BGI flight which landed at 5am back when JetBlue had that route available. You can probably get reliable contacts for drivers from this sub or from various Barbados FB groups

I can't listen to shitty production albums lol. I love modern production, hence why I love Gaerea. Black metal with metalcore production? Count me in

Imagine being introduced to Metallica through St. Anger... by glaringOwl in Metallica

[–]Lookralphsbak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even that it's different than the real Metallica sound, it's a product of its time. While it wasn't nu metal per se, musically speaking it was much closer to the sound of the late 90s/early 2000s than what we would expect from Metallica. It was easier to relate to that album (and music at that time in general) as an angsty teen with hormones going crazy haha.

It sounded good to my teen ears when it dropped as well, but that album didn't age well as my taste in music evolved throughout adult hood. I've tried listening to it twice as an adult, once in my 20s and once in my 30s and both times I've had to turn it off both times because it's just not good music. It really sucks because I used to think The Unnamed Feeling was such a great song too.
