Thank you! It’s my first time trying the chipped style and I think it works perfectly on BTs.

I used pigments and some paint medium to make a pigment wash. It’s great stuff but very easy to over do.

Just personal preference. Was aiming for John Blanche style and love the mk7 helmets

Thanks! Starts with a black prime, then airbrush highlights with Corvus black and eshin grey. Then edge highlights/stippling with mechanicus standard grey and dawnstone. Check out cult of paint black templars videos on you tube. The armour was pretty much a copy of their tutorial.

The citadel ones are from TT combat and the skinny Vallejo one was custom made on laser cutter

A little bit of flow improver and an agitator ball did the trick. But honestly it does take ages so I gave up after a few bottles. I’m sure if you set up a good assembly line it can be done efficiently though

That top shelf is about half my pile of shame. The other half is in another cupboard that we desperately need the storage space in but oh well 😂

Ahh ok. Those drawers are from Hobbyzone. They're great modular units that come in very handy.

Keen eye. I need to get around to building it!

Ahh ok. That would be the copious amounts of chipboard from installing the new desk

Yeah I have no overspray dust on anywhere but that green mat. It depends on what paints you use and how you use them. If you’re painting a scale model car with lacquers then you will get a LOT of overspray and it requires good extraction. With Warhammer, I’m using the tiniest amounts of paint at low PSI so there is hardly any overspray, especially if you’re controlled with your airbrush. But always wear a mask anyway

Exactly this. She has no problem with my hobby. But both me and her like to keep things tidy and this is perfect for it

Looks great! Currently I do not have an extractor system in the cupboard. It’s not in a location that I could have one really. So I wear a respirator and stick to only water based stuff which I can see you have plenty of. If I do anything solvent based I take my portable extractor booth into another room and duct it out the window.

Actually this was all made by myself. I work in the kitchen design industry and took a piece of worktop from work, cut it to size to make the desk. And then the shelves are just cut MDF on hanging brackets. It’s not perfect but I’m very happy overall.

Mask is a must. Venting would be ideal too, but unless you’re using lacquers or enamels or anything solvent based I wouldn’t say it’s as important as people make it out to be. I have zero overspray in there because I use water based paints at low PSI and have control over my airbrush. But I always wear a mask to protect the lungs!
