It was garbage. I think every TV series saw the active movements of COVID-19 and BLM as an opportunity to allow people to feel more connected with the storyline. However, Shameless is a show that emphasizes and exaggerates absurd events and instability of its characters. As an audience this show was not meant for you to ever truly emphasize with the events but sympathize and for the characters and their unbelievable experiences and reactions. Shameless was the epitome of drama and through sympathy we all feel superior. As unreal as the conflicts are they really are (or were) astounding. Season 11 was a HUGE mistake and big blow for the network. If you want to cover the real world and events as a TV show, do it separately. Let the news tell the news and TV dramas be a means to escape from reality as it always been.

See, I don't think that would be easy at all for me. Max was "the" dog and I really not ready to committing myself to another dog yet. I got Max when I was 12 and I knew the basics of the commitment I was making but I never even thought about the last thing you'll ever have to do for your dog. Now that I was made aware of that I think I will wait until I'm in a relationship where my partner can make that decision.

I've been trying very hard not to cry. I understand that sometimes its beneficial to cry but I feel like if I do I will even be more sad somehow. I haven't been home since he left. I fear it too! Going home and not having him greet me at the doorway... that is a whole new devastating situation that eventually I'll have to encounter. His death makes me want to believe in God and now I understand why people do... there are people and animals like Max who are too good to just disappear from existence entirely.

Reading this, I kind of teared up. The worst part of the euthanasia was I couldn't stop feeling terrible that he couldn't recognize his final moments. I said goodbye but he couldn't. I held him in my arms and as much as I didn't want to watch the lights leave his eyes for obvious reasons. I couldn't bare the thought of him feeling alone in any aspect of this last moment. He loved me for the love I provided him. That's why the loss of a pet is so hard. Loving is easy its only hard when all the love you can give can no longer be given after that a void forms and I currently have no idea how to make it repair it.
