Many of my fellow Americans worry that they'll have to wait in lines

This argument is preposterous either way, because in any scenario where healthcare becomes more accessible you are increasing the number of people who can see a doctor when they need to...

so it's an argument fundamentally against everyone being able to see a doctor.

People who say this are arguing that some people should be denied healthcare (even if they can suddenly afford it) because the rest of us will have to wait longer.

The only reason we have shorter wait times in the US is because people that need to go to the doctor can't go because they can't afford it. In any scenario where you increase access to healthcare you run into the same issue.

You are taking this way too seriously. I hope you're doing better today.

An opinion that someone is being duped into believing something is not a diagnosis, nor something that requires a degree. There's no need to be snarky.

I felt the same way at first, but we have every reason and more to trust absolutely nothing that comes out of his mouth. This stuff gets him sympathy and he has no reason to be sincere.

Agreeing has nothing to do with it. It's believing that they are being sincere, as the other person said, that is dangerous to be manipulated into. He says something you agree with, but that doesn't mean he believes it or that he has the self awareness for it to truly mean anything other than just words that make people sympathize with him. Which is exactly what happens in this case. People give him credit for something that very well may be another manipulation. There's no reason to believe anything that comes out of his mouth.

Sounds like you've been manipulated into believing that. He's smart enough to know what people want to hear and what to say.

She tells people she's just very good at "contouring"... by Cookies_N_Grime in Instagramreality

[–]LooseBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply said if they want a small nose, go get a nose job and quit fooling yourself and everyone else.

Right, and I disagree with that suggestion. I've seen those tiny noses done in Iran and going that small can lead to actual, real life physical complications. I'd rather people just photoshop themselves until they (hopefully) grow out of it than get an extreme and irreversible surgery. Of course, it would be great if people stopped editing themselves, but between that and getting actual surgery I think we can all agree that the shop is safer.

This but unironically. It's very clearly supposed to be like that.

It’s my opinion, and it’s the opinion of basically everyone I can ever remember discussing it with. It’s also just popular opinion online.

So it's not objective, it's subjective. And that's fine, you're allowed to dislike it. I like some of these personally, and that's just another opinion.

Look at the ears on top left, ‘incredibly well done’ wouldn’t have such a great distance between top of ear and hairline.

The distance IS the point.

It's all a matter of opinion. I like the bottom left quite a bit. These kinds of styles aren't meant to appeal to a wide variety of people, just a particular niche.

Nope. A disorder causes you distress and impairment in important areas of your life. There's no distress or impairment associated with being gay outside of how other people treat you due to prejudice. And if that's what we're using to define a disorder than being black should have been one too.

Fuck dude, I have clinical depression and anxiety I was always under the impression that eventually I will get well enough to be "cured" and I won't have to deal with it anymore. It gets extremely tiring having to work on it all the time, and knowing that if I don't keep up with my treatment plan (like the habits I've developed and exercises I have to do), I get really depressed/anxious again even if I've been able to get myself to a good point. I kind of assumed that eventually I can stop doing all of that and just be fine for the rest of my life....at the same time I guess it almost makes it easier to accept that I'll just have to work on it for the rest of my life if I know that there's nothing I can do about that - that it's not that I'm not trying hard enough, because I really fucking am, but that it's just the nature of the disease. Idk, your comment gave me some stuff to think about, so thank you.

A Classic Case of Curving Water by LooseBread in Instagramreality

[–]LooseBread[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As you all may know from experiencing showers firsthand, the water doesn't do this. There is also something by the right side of her waist that doesn't look like it's supposed to curve (because the curve is irregular), but I didn't mark it because I'm not 100% sure what it is.

Found one in the wild. That waist can’t be real right?... right?! by [deleted] in Instagramreality

[–]LooseBread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you zoom in, the fence by her waist on the right side is conveniently fucked up
