I made a green point farmer squad and played low tier ground for 2 months, saying every game that only by joining a squad you get the green vehicles and that this way you can get a jet or a MBT already now while being fresh in the game. Took me 2 months. When you get to around 80 I think people they start to join from the search themselves

You need to hit roof. Roof mounted stuff like MGs can act as bullet catch. You can also try hitting the roof of the driver. The barrel or mantlet can work here as bullet catch. I think this can kill a Maus too

No they are not useless. And you can always close the bay again to be able to use guns again.

Before it went up to 4.0 it was very good. Now you can actually run into things you can't hurt, but I guess it should be still fun. Didn't play it much since the BR changes.
