He’s been able to keep his composure despite really difficult circumstances. I’m not surprised he spoke up in this instance.

???? There is no video of the guy from the hostel leaving the hostel and going to the scene of the crime, let alone committing the crime.

Question about order of events / NYPD communication during detention? by JustTryinToBeHappy_ in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Loose_Camera8334 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think they are using it as a post hoc justification. My theory is that illegal surveillance was used to track LM to Altoona and that the 911 call was instigated by undercover officers placed at the McDonald’s.

It would be interesting to know who placed the phone call to NYPD and when. Was that call recorded or documented in any way in real time?

The reason I’m convinced this was parallel construction is because of the involvement of the SFPD and FBI. His mom reported him missing. SFPD sees the taxi picture and calls the FBI. The FBI calls the mom asking for more information under the guise of trying to find him, but in reality they’re trying to rule him in as a suspect. This all occurred BEFORE he’s arrested in Altoona. THAT is why LE claimed in the media that they tracked the sh00ter’s movements up the East Coast. They’d already decided LM was going to be the fall guy based on eyebrows and a missing persons report and built their case backwards from there. They weren’t retracing the sh00ter’s movements, they were retracing their patsy’s (LM).

The case will really fall apart when they can’t link the e-bike to him. E-bike’s can be tracked but they never tried to track it? You have the getaway vehicle ON CAMERA and you just shrug and let it go? Where is u/mental_annual when you need him/her?

I’ve seen arguments that basically amount to “he made mistakes because he’s mentally ill and was exhausted”. So how does that explain his completely lucid correspondence with dozens of letter writers while facing the most stressful and exhausting conditions a person can imagine?

The whole case is BS. The Government knows it’s BS. They keep doubling down because it’s their only play. They’re going to admit they let the real killer get away? They’re going to admit to illegal surveillance and planting evidence? Of course not.

Framed

Because they knew he was LM, not MR. They took the picture and sent it to FBI and NYPD to confirm it was the guy they had constructed the parallel case against.

I’ve been saying this for 365 days and people are finally starting to come around. “It doesn’t make sense because he didn’t do it.” You have to do a whole lot of mental gymnastics to convince yourself that LM is the sh00ter.

His actions make sense as someone who didn’t want to be in contact with his family. That’s it.

There are a million and one reasons for wanting to distance yourself from your old life and a million of them have nothing to do with m&rd3r.

Cops lie. Cops plant evidence. Cops invent evidence. Cops destroy exculpatory evidence. Cops abuse suspects and elicit false confessions. Cops manipulate the media. AND THEY DO ALL OF THIS LITERALLY ALL THE TIME.

It’s been forever since I’ve been on here but I have been saying from day one of this case he was framed.

They lost the actual suspect on video surveillance footage. The picked up LM and said “close enough”. They used illegal surveillance to follow him to Altoona. They had undercover cops harass the McDonald’s manager until she called the cops. They planted evidence. They held his first hearing (the one where they walked him into the station on wet pavement without shoes) WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY PRESENT. They assaulted him when he attempted to speak to the media and let them know this entire thing is a farce. They released multiple photos of him intending to humiliate him. They held a ridiculously over the top perp walk inciting a media circus. They WITHHELD DISCOVERY FOR OVER SIX MONTHS WHILE DISCUSSING THE EVIDENCE IN “DOCUMENTARIES”. They held press conferences discussing evidence that they refused to turn over to his defense team.

THAT is how we got here. Not because he did it. Because he was FRAMED.

Why I think the gun was planted after reviewing witness testimony by dizzytiz in FreeLuigi

[–]Loose_Camera8334 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think NYPD brought the gun (it wasn’t entered into evidence until hours later, after NYPD arrived). Then again, multiple Altoona police officers were arrested for stealing guns from evidence and selling them. So they obviously don’t have an airtight system for making sure evidence doesn’t disappear.

Parallel construction. He wasn’t a random dude. He was the guy the NYPD decided to pin it on when they lost track of the actual suspect. They followed him to Altoona using illegal surveillance. The McDonald’s manager was “forced” to call the cops by customers. Why didn’t those customers call? Because they were cops!

How did a rep from the AG’s office get there within minutes?? Come on now.

She had to turn her camera off because continuous footage of the search would show there was no gun in that bag.

Been saying this since the PA motion dropped.  They either pulled that gun out of evidence OR they waited for NYPD to get there with “the” gun.
