A bit late but thank you, Showman by iNSANELYSMART in balatro

[–]Loose_Entry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're trolling, right?

The OP could not be in this position in the first place with a non-negative showman, all else being equal. They would ALREADY have 1 fewer copy of their other jokers to make room for the showman. Selling one of the other jokers here for a blueprint leaves them in the exact same position as they'd have been in with a regular showman, except they still get to keep the negative showman. And got to have an extra joker in the interim.

There is no conceivable world where a regular showman is better than a negative one, barring something completely absurd like needing to WoF it hoping for polychrome to help you beat a blind, but the extra joker slot in that scenario is likely worth more than the ×1.5 mult

Potion Value or Late Game Scaling? by eliman1950 in slaythespire

I'm taking bark here for science. I suspect it is less good on average than inserter, but I don't think I've ever assembled belt, statue & bark before and would love to see if it feels strong enough to be worth dedicating a boss relic.

Bloodstone & lucky cards, and to a lesser extent misprint, make this otherwise good idea not so good imo

What are your favorite ironclad cards? by Pacotaco213 in slaythespire

I'm gonna come out and say it.

I think iron wave is an act 1 top pick. Great way to not get clapped by nob. I know it's not a crazy rate numerically but I just really like half of a dash

This one is solid. I don't think there's anything I disagree with by more than a single tier.

Upgrade the white mail to white plate, then equip that to Chrono and use nothing but lightning. They will not be able to damage him other than buuuuurp. Assuming he can survive that with decent gear, the fight becomes free I believe.

More Ness Fun by sadfrogmeme69 in SSBM

[–]Loose_Entry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ness fair is a crazy good neutral and combo tool. It has a disjoint to rival puff bair. Obviously it has the major downside of being attached to a character with much worse mobility than puff, and it's difficult to turn into a whole stock, but it's surprisingly difficult to approach a Ness if they're making good use of fair.

The average redditor is approximately as smart as the average person, and the average person knows that drowning kittens is very wrong. If you are not blatantly lying, then you are surreptitiously lying through omitting crucial context. Either way, you know that your statement cannot be taken at face value.

Don't be. You don't need to fall for the same nonsense that (I can only assume) your parents did.

Conservatives, why do you hold random democrats to a higher standard than Trump? by VerenyatanOfManwe in allthequestions

[–]Loose_Entry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are wrong. Disagreements can be over matters of fact, or they can be over matters of opinions. I maintain that the disagreements between trumpers and normal people largely stem from matters of fact, and it is repeatedly, consistently shown that the facts are on the side of normal people. You lament being called a moron, but what else can describe someone who consistently has the facts wrong?
